My favorite hairdressers is Kim. I have been going to her for years.. she knows my style. Listens and never just chops off my hair without making sure it’s what I wanted. I always walk out smiling and happy. She is excellent and friendly. And funny when we talk about stuff. I highly recommend her.

I decided to try this place out since I saw that they were having a special for first time visitors and I was pretty disappointed. I forgot the name of the lady who cut my hair but she was an elderly Asian woman. She seemed nice but unfortunately there was a clear language barrier between us. I explained to her in depth how I wanted my hair cut (no wash btw) and she proceeded to cut my fringe above my eyebrows when I asked for right at my eyebrows. She kept cutting oddly to me, not really examining my hair or lifting up ends to cut them which I found to be so sketchy. She also didn’t spray much water on my hair so it appeared dry as a haystack (since she was moving it around so much). My fringe came out completely crooked. Some pieces of hair were left alone when they should have been cut. Others were cut too much imo. The parting of my hair confused me; length was fine but the layers were uneven too (this has happened before and I was hoping it would be fixed, but alas, no dice). I voiced my resentment as nicely as possible but she didn’t understand me. I should have saved myself the money and cut my own fringe while I guess keeping my longer hair and suffering in the heat rather than dealing with an awful haircut. I did my best to fix said fringe at home & it looks a little better now, just short (And yeah I know hair grows back, I just really obsess over mine). All in all, I wouldn’t come back here.

All I have to say is Racist , I called to get a wash and blow dry and was told to come in. I come in (I am mixed but my hair is very ethic ,especially coming out of the pool) & not only did they ignore me for the first 15 min but when she finally came up to me she assumed I was getting my nails done. I told her I wasn’t and that I called in which she just says I have a client coming in in 10 min. I asked her does that mean she can’t do my hair because I had called ahead to not waste my time going in. She just replied “I know, I know but I have a appointment “. She didn’t give me a time to come back or even wait it was clear she wanted me out of her shop. I never really personally have situations that remind me that racist people are still around but it hurts to know that they are still out there ,whether I deal with it personally or not. I would not go here there’s plenty of other salons near by that have better customer service.

Bad attitude from one lady and and older lady that has no idea how to cut hair. I don’t recommend this place at all. A simple trim turned out to be a nightmare.
