Henrietta is an amazing women! I’m so glad i found her. She does beautiful work on all hair types and makes incredible effort to stay in touch with you post appointment. Her consultation process is very simple and personalized. She’ll order everything you need for continued hair care and recommend great products for your specialized needs. The picture below is protein bond (keratin bond) extensions which came out beautifully. My next appointment i will be switching to a new extension technique and i can’t wait to see what she has in store for me!

I am an Indian woman who had a very bad experience with a hair extension installation (microbead weft extensions from Amazon) that left my hair extremely dry and matted. Henrietta very patiently untangled my hair, washed it, and gave me a deep conditioning protein treatment to restore my natural hair. She was very kind and knowledgeable about the best kind of extensions for my hair type, and how to maintain my natural hair for when I get extensions in the future. Henrietta is no doubt the best of the best!

When I first met with Henrietta, I got a bad vibe from the get go. When she first met my friend and I for a consultation to “help” me with a bad haircut by adding extensions to my hair to regain length and confidence, she told my friend that she has “dry and frizzy hair” and that she needs to “fix it”. She did not know my friend nor was my friend her client. I already had a bad experience with a hair cut and was weary of trusting another person with my hair. I bit the bullet and had hope that this person would be different. Unfortunately, she was one of the worst hair dressers I had ever experienced in my life. She was rude and condescending. She refused to give a refund after butchering my extensions, cutting my real hair when asked not to, and proceeded to damage my scalp by gluing the extensions directly on my scalp. When I told her they hurt, her response was “that’s normal. I’m not like other hair dressers, I work with ‘big people who have influence’ and you’re lucky I’m helping you”. She belittled my friend and myself. During the installation process, my friend asked if she could watch. Henrietta stated that “we don’t do that here” and “you’re crazy girl” because my friend was looking out for me. She went on a rant stating that “this is why only one person can come in my salon at a time” and that “friends or plus ones weren’t allowed”. Which was very sketchy. I came with a friend because I did not know this lady and I was in an unfamiliar area. I brought her for my safety. Henrietta continued to make fun of me by stating that my bangs were “Chinese bangs” and laughed at me. She made fun of my friend and myself. She made me blow dry my own hair. She made me separate and pick up extensions off the floor to put in my hair. Her workspace was filled with trash and dirty laundry. The first day we met her, she peed with the door open while talking to me. It was completely unsanitary and unprofessional. She still refuses to give me a refund. She pressured me into writing a review mid-installation and would not let me walk out without writing a review. It was disgusting behavior and I will be seeking a refund otherwise I will be reporting her business.

After searching for a new hair extension specialist, I came across Hair Paradise Salon and Spa and Henrietta was very prompt in responding to my inquiry. As a result of a bad bleach job that damaged and shortened my hair at the crown at a different salon, I have worn extensions for many years. Getting the hair extensions to blend with my natural hair is not an easy task, but Henrietta does an excellent job in blending them with my natural hair and she even taught me about placement and cow lick, which I had never been educated about by my previous hairdresser. Since I have a very sensitive scalp, Henrietta takes great care in applying my extensions and makes sure I’m completely satisfied with the placement during each visit.

Henrietta is such an amazing hair stylist. I found her because I wanted extensions in same day and Henrietta talked me off the edge and taught me patience. I wanted hair extensions for my wedding and she made it happen with patience through the many journeys of hair color issues I had with other stylists. She does a consultation to see the integrity of your hair, then she matches the colors of your hair and orders your extensions to the exact colors that you have in your hair so that it looks natural. The Salon offers a wide variety of techniques of Hair Extensions, Chemical Hair Straightening. Since I have thinning Caucasian hair she helped find the best type of extensions for my hair so that they look natural but do not damage my hair. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to make their hair longer and more voluminous.
