So first off, I just moved here from SC and I needed someone quick to give me a blowout for the weekend, I called the hair salon ahead of time asking how much it cost to get my hair blow dryed, she said 65. It seems very pricey but the one on base ( I live in the military) said 65 also ,so I went to Hair on me, since it was the same price, I went over, she seems very nice and went straight to washing my hair. No one was in the salon so I just thought it was a slow day. She washed my hair, blow dry it, and straighten it, asked if I wanted my ends cut I said yes, I can tell she was very old styled because she “bump my ends” a little bit. I looked like I aged 3 years. Never asked if I wanted it that way. I didn’t like it! So when it was time to pay her we was about to give her 65 like she said on the phone, now she saying it’s 75!! Like what?!! My husband who was there with me looked at me in shock, I never had to pay that much for a blowout!!!! She said it’s because she had to silk press my hair!! Then why did you do it!! I felt played and cheated.. to all of my friends and family I don’t recommend going there , they need to be honest with there customers. And if you like older styles go for it! It just was not me.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI called the salon looking to get my hair relaxed, deep conditioned, and trimmed. While I did get all of those services, I also ended up with chemical burns on my scalp that resulted in my hair falling out the first time I washed it. I reached out to Veronica asking for a partial refund and she told me she did not give refunds and I should have come back immediately after my appointment. I told her I didn’t know immediately after my appointment how burned I was, and sent her pictures of the damage. She got defensive and said that had I asked her, she would have told me to put neosporin on the burns (which would have fixed nothing) and to come back for 2 weeks of treatment (which I would never do, considering she was the one that caused the damage in the first place). I tried to handle the issue privately, but Veronica’s rude, unprofessional and condescending response to the problem made me feel like the only option left was to leave a review. DO NOT COME TO HAIR ON YOU SALON. i called a head and had a wonderful experience from the person who answered the phone, which made me feel very welcomed and comfortable using them for the first time. when we got there, veronica, greeted us and made us feel very at home. my niece is very special needs and veronica took her in and did her hair as if she were her own child. she was very sensitive to her sensitive scalp issues. we talked and laughed and my niece felt like a super model when she left there. just flippin her hair all over and smiling from ear to ear. i thought the prices were very reasonable, especially for all she did and the extras that i bought for my niece. i run a business too and knowing the overhead involved, prices were on point. i will continue to go there as well as refer people to her shop. thanks roni

I didn’t dislike everything but in overall I disliked it. I went to have my hair dyed and flexi rod total cost $155 which I thought was a lot. I wanted my hair red but I left with burgundy which I really did not want but I was tired of sitting there. the shampoo girl is actually the one that dyed my hair not the beautician.I was there at 10am and didn’t leave until 2:45. The beauticians in there were really nice. but didn’t get what I wanted I won’t be going back.

Veronica has been professional and good in the past – as long as you like the results of her job – and so was looking forward to a new decently chic look with her help. With loyalty and great expectations, I recently went to color my hair for the first time and asked for her professional opinion and so for $140 expected her to explain the best options and apply a decent color or what i had requested – golden blond that was to be not too bright. The result was orange – yellow hair with white edges in the front . After telling her that it looked weird, she mentioned that the white edges would grow out in no time. Everyone thought it was part of my Halloween costume. Next day told her that i did not like the color cause it was not what i expected – she just brushed me off. A salonist should never let a client leave looking like a clown. The price of the hairdo should include customer service. When a salonist can clearly see that a hair job has geniunely backfired, they should at least offer a free re-do if nothing else . Never going back there.
