Michelle knows my hair and always knows what will bring out the true me. 5 Stars!! I drive from Fort PAYNE , AL to get my hair colored, cut, and styled. I feel like I am visiting family when I enter. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. This place is a must do.

I went to Hair & Nail for my wedding since it was right down the road from the Conservatory at Waterstone. Amy did my hair and my bridesmaids’. My half up-do turned out well during the trial and on the wedding day. But my bridesmaid’s hair… not so much. They all had pictures of up-dos of the kind of style they wanted and none of their hair looked anything like what they wanted. That would have been fine if the up-dos looked good, but they were very sloppy and did not look like they were professionally done. She also seemed like she was in a hurry to be done with us and didn’t listen to comments/suggestions my bridesmaids had. For $60 for the bridesmaids’ hair and $85 for mine, we were all highly disappointed.

Before I met Ami I went to various fancy salons from Towne Lake to Atlanta. I will never have anyone else but her cut my hair again. Even my 17 yr old boy has only come to trust her. I drive from the Canton-Waleska area, but it’s well worth the drive to not have my son upset because the sylist cut his hair the way she wanted….as he would call it a “wack job” hes very picky about his hair, I am sure I am too…lol. She listens to instruction and gives great advice. She always exceed my expectations. It isnt an exclusive salon…Ami has worked in the most exclusive salons as well as the infamous 80’s actors scandal salon, but has chosen to work among the community and people that have her heart, simply because she loves what she does. Hair and Nail’s atmosphere is one of family. To each other as a staff, as well as how they care about their customers.

I moved to the Acworth area a little more than a year ago. I moved from the Vinings area and had previously been traveling alllll the way to Lawrenceville to get my hair cut and colored b/c I had a hair stylist that I was scared to leave, so I was willing to make the trip to get my hair done. Well Acworh to Lawrenceville was way to far to even consider. I did some research and wanted to find another locally owned, small hair shop. I stumbled across hair & nail and was set up with an appointment with Ami. Needless to say its been over a year and I still see her regularly. She never rushes with cut or color and will adjust her schedule to be able to work her clients in to your schedule! She has by far given me most regular a-line bob with bangs without flaw! I love her work and all the ladies (and man) in the salon!!!!
