Always professional and friendly, no frills, just good hair cuts and friendly staff. In recent visits, we saw owner Young Kim’s fantastic balayage color work too. She took her time and put in dedicated effort and time to make sure it came out perfectly for the client. I was very impressed to see her process.

I love going here. The hair cuts are great!! I went in today to get my hair bleached to an under dye look. Young is very meticulous and precise in what she does, she will make sure you will get the look you want. Haydee was also so thorough in what she does as she was bleaching my hair. Everyone in the salon worked as a team to get me the results I wanted. I love my hair so much!

I’ve been going to Young, owner of Hair mode since she opened. I like to try different styles, so when I show picture to Young, she always delivers quality haircuts, color or other processes. Anybody can cut hair, not everyone knows how to style a hair. She is a fantastic STYLIST. Some haircuts are unmanageable after few weeks but when Young cuts hair, I can do versatile stuff for weeks and weeks and look stylish. Her prices are reasonable too! As a person, she is nice, courteous and professional!!

I have enjoyed getting my haircut (for Korean male) here for the past year. Everyone is friendly and I’m satisfied with my cut every time. Young (the owner) does a great job. The only thing is that Korean hairstylists do charge a lot in the DMV area. That’s just part of the cost for have a stylist who knows what they’re doing with Korean hair.

I had my hair digiPermed. Heidi and Young Kim were super ladies! Styled and permed my hair nicely. I gave 4stars cause I think $350 is a bit much for a digiperm since my hair was just below shoulder length .
