I have been working at this salon just under 2 years and it is one of the most laid back salons that I’ve worked at. No drama just professional service. Working with like minded adults is so important to any hairstylist that wants to grow their business. This is a great place to start. The salon is in a busy strip mall and it’s always an opportunity to grow clientele. The owner is very nice and doesn’t mind sharing her knowledge. I love working here. I don’t plan to go anywhere anytime soon!! This salon allows me to do what I love ❤️ I recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for great service and a great place to work!!

Tonya Ellis is an awesome natural hairstylist. My coworker told me about her five years ago but at the time I wasn’t ready to go natural. I hate that I did make the choice to go natural five years ago. I’m so happy that I am on board now mainly through the help of Tonya. I called her one evening to schedule an appointment after removing my braids. I had no idea what steps to take to move forward with transitioning my hair and keeping it healthy. She was so energetic, excited to see my hair, and warm on the phone. At my first appointment, she deep conditioned my hair, trimmed my ends, and styled my hair. It was silky that I snapped up pictures all day. I’ve only been going to her for a few months to help me transition from a relaxer and it’s the best decision I’ve made this year. I look forward to my hair appointments cause I know she’s going to take care of my hair. You will never have to wait because she does her best to make sure none of her clients have to wait. Usually, when I get there, she is waiting on me. This is just another example of the level of professionalism that she provides to all her clients. Honestly, my treatments have made this transitioning process so easy for me. My hair is so manageable that I’m able to comb through it when I wash my hair at home. I get my ends cut regular which has helped my hair grow so fast. I highly, highly recommend that you call her today and schedule an appointment!

Tonya is amazing! On my initial visit she admitted to me that she hadn’t done a perm rod style in quite a while but my hair turned out looking great. Plus the style still looked good even after working out multiple times at the gym. I’ve been going back to get my hair done with her ever since.

Tonya Ellis is AMAZING!!! I first began using Tojya about 7yrs ago. I used her for about 3 years and then for my own personal reasons stopped getting my hair done all together. For about 1.5yrs i searched everywhere for Tonya. About 8 or so month ago i found her and my hair, yet again, has never been the same. She takes such great care of my hair. It is always soft, shiny, trimmed perfectly, and smells nice too. I will never go anywhere else!
