Allison is the best and always does a gorgeous job on my hair, taking her time to make sure I am satisfied and making sure I leave feeling pretty- which we all need in this pandemic! Crystal and Jamey are also great and greet me in a welcoming way even though they are not my stylist, I always feel like I am walking into a salon filled with friends. The salon is beautiful, the ladies are awesome and the service has never been lacking!! These ladies are always the kindest and make sure the atmosphere of the salon is always friendly and welcoming and a treat as well as a retreat from the world. I have been going to Hair Junkies for over a year and LOVE it! Allison is the best and always does a gorgeous job on my hair, taking her time to make sure I am satisfied and making sure I leave feeling pretty- which we all need in this pandemic! Crystal and Jamey are also great and greet me in a welcoming way even though they are not my stylist, I always feel like I am walking into a salon filled with friends. Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy children and I have been going to this salon for several years, but this past week I called to make an appointment for my son and after 4 days of no return phone calls I went to the salon in person. The owner (I was told she is the owner), while at a midway station in the salon- scissors in hand with a client- yelled over to me that she only this morning. I told her I had been leaving messages for 4 days. She said she didn’t know who was receiving the messages but she meant to call me. I pointed to the last behind the front desk who was browsing on her cell phone and she said she had only been there for an hour.I asked the how I could make an appointment. She then confessed that they had been receiving my phone calls but some of the girls were uncomfortable with me because I switched between stylists due to availability. This is my reasoning, but apparently the girls took it personally and are offended. I’ve never had an incident at this salon and neither have my young children. I’ve never made a complaint about anyone. I requested Crystal but when she wasn’t available I saw Alison. The last time I called to make an appointment I asked if there was anyone new available- without complaining- and was made an appointment with Jayme. I was so happy with the way she cut my daughter’s hair I made an appointment for myself the following week. That was last month. Now I am told Alison and Crystal are “uncomfortable “ with me and that is why no one returned my phone calls for my sons hair appointment.When I said, fine, we won’t be back since we are not welcome the “owner” hand gestured me out the door and after I was out the door loudly screamed “bitch”.I’ve done nothing to deserve this kind of treatment. If I prefer another stylist or if the regular one isn’t available I don’t see any reason why my family should be treated as if they were banished. We’ve never been anything but nice to the ladies or the salon.
