I got a recently dyed mullet trimmed up and I’ve been gone from the shop walking down the street for like 5 or so minutes when I got a compliment! I feel good and I look good! They’re professional and my hair feels more like myself. He looked at my hair, listened to my wants and offered me suggestions on how he could trim up my hair to fit the vibe I was going for better. I haven’t even gotten to how good the customer service was and the place just has a very calming and relaxing vibe to it. They’re skilled professionals that really made me feel at home.

Walked in without an appointment and Sharma was happy to do a trim for me. He was very kind, quick, and precise, and made sure I was satisfied with the haircut before I left. He even gave me a brand new hair straightener for free after hearing that I didn’t have one, which I very greatly appreciated! I will definitely be going back and recommend this place to anyone!

I took my 3 years old son to this barbershop today, and the female barber directly started haircut without asking what hair model we like. Consequently, we didn’t like the haircut, because she shortened every part of his hair. We asked her her to make a little change but they refused. The male barber intervened in the conversation, and he said “if you don’t like it leave and don’t come again.” I tried to explain as a customer I have the right to criticize if I don’t like the haircut” But he called my 3 years old son as “maniac” and he said he will call somebody if we don’t leave immediately. I went there to have haircut for my son but we received insults and threats.

Sharma is the MAN! Wasn’t really sure where to go to get a haircut as a freshman at IU, so I came here because it was close to my dorm. Sharma lined me up real quick and kept me engaged the whole time. He’s super funny and even shampooed and dried my hair. Hair Jordan is the place to go for a haircut at IU, and remember to ask for Sharma!

I was insulted and harassed by a worker, then told I don’t know how to read. There is a shared parking spot between hair jordan and Dragon Express. A worker came out of the store and forcefully started asking where I’m going. When I said Dragon Express he claimed I couldn’t park where I did. I calmly pointed to the sign that said I could park where I did, and he began aggressively pointing at hair jordan signs. He then said “whatever man, you must not be able to read!” All that was required was a simple request, not commands and insults to a stranger.

After a space cleared, I parked and walked into the store. I presume it was the owner sitting with his back to me and talking to two people whose hair he wasn’t cutting. I said Hello! in a friendly town. This joker …didn’t even turn to look at me. Just muttered “take a seat please” in a not very pleasant tone. I felt like I was barging in on something and wasn’t wanted. Maybe college students would put up with that kind of customer service, but as an adult I sure as hell won’t. So I just walked right back out. Never going back. I suggest going to V’s Barbershop near the Kroger plaza. You would never get this kind of treatment at V’s Barbershop. Pretty sure the only reason this place is still open is that it’s closest one to campus and he must have super cheap rent for being there for so long. No clue about customer service. Unless this is all you can drive to as a college student you have many better options.
