On Wednesday, I called in and scheduled a blowout for Saturday when I was having family photos. On the call, she asked me to describe what do I wanted. I said I wanted my hair washed then blow dried and smoothed with product and a round brush and then I’d like waves or loose curls added. I asked her the price and she told me and that was it. I arrived at 11 on Saturday ready to get my hair done. When I was there she asked me again what I wanted and told me she can get my hair straight, but she can’t use a round brush and she can’t curl my hair because her hands hurt. So, I had to rush to the store and buy a few hair products and go home and do my hair. This put me in a very stressful situation. I was an hour behind schedule and I am not the greatest at hair and it left me feeling not very confident. If she couldn’t do it she should have told me earlier to schedule someone else. I will definitely never call back there again or recommend Hair It Is.

My favorite salon in the upstate. Saylor is the best! Literally the sweetest, very professional, she makes you feel very comfortable! The whole atmosphere is very cozy and super friendly. The best Southern hospitality vibes all around. 10/10!!
