I went in there at 3:30 was asked to take a seat and someone would be with me. At 4:10I was told that they don’t know how long it will take. I would never recommend this place. As customer service was very poor. I looked up the reviews on this prior to coming and sitting for 40 minutes, complete disappointment.

I really loved my experience at Hair It Is. My hairstylist was Carol and I must say she’s amazing!! I’ve been to really high-end salons to holes in the wall, and my experiences have been terrible. This is one of the best investments I’ve ever done for my hair. She color corrected my hair, and did a wonderful job. Just how I wanted it! I showed her pictures of different hair colors I wanted and she was really honest and told me what she was capable of doing and not doing.

I very rarely leave negative reviews or even complain about a business even if my experience is very negative, but my experience yesterday was very troubling. My sweet grandmother is in her 80s and my daughter is one. I took them in yesterday for a simple trim. The woman who cut my grandmother’s hair did not treat her with dignity or respect. The stylist would only speak to me, assuming grandma couldn’t talk for herself. When my grandmother did try to talk to her, she didn’t listen and acted like she couldn’t understand her. It honestly broke my heart because my grandmother was embarrassed and even defended the stylist. The second stylist was very rough with my daughter and she left with a bowl cut. I noticed her scissors were dirty and barely able to cut because they were so dull. Going forward I will plan to take both my grandmother and daughter to my salon, and will pay much more for quality haircuts and professional service. I do both recommend this business.

I have gratefully gone to Hair It Is for many years. My husband and I would not go to any other salon. I love my hair every time as did my husband before he passed. He also had his beard and mustache maintained. A professional and extremely pleasant staff. I can’t say enough positive things and would highly recommend this salon. Give it a try.
