A week ago I had open heart surgery at Cleveland Clinic and my cousin was there every day and night helping me. I was realeased a week later and said she needed a scissors to cut her hair. I told her that Saturday morning a week and a day after my surgery I would take her to get her hair cut and that Saturday morning I called hair in motion and I made an appointment for her. They were overly accommodating and when we got there late they said don’t worry about it we’re going to take care of you and not only did they take care of her but they made me feel extremely comfortable after just having open heart surgery and I’m sure if the folks at the Cleveland clinic knew that this is what I was doing the day after being released from the hospital it would probably think I was crazy but when you have your cousin taking care of you and you’re not the easiest patient in the world you have to do something good for them and bringing her here to get her hair cut was so worth it and the people here did an amazing job and they would just so nice I also noticed while sitting here waiting they have a very diverse clientele so if you’re looking for a good place to get your haircut it’s friendly come on over.

It is an ok place. I came in for a wash and blow dry my short hair (bob style). I wanted straight hair. Yes, that’s what I walked out with. But! I can’t run my hands through my hair as they used mousse. My roots are very frizzy and don’t look good. The hairstylist even pointed out I have wavy hair. Overall I feel like I walked to 80s not just with the look of the place but with the style of their work. I wanted modern feel. This is not the place.

This is a fantastic place. I got my hair cut by Nilla, the owner, and was blown away by the service. They really are connected with the community and care for their customers. They are hard working and their hair cuts are top notch for a good price. Good atmosphere with coffee and cookies while you wait. Best salon in the area.
