Critical: Professionalism, QualityI used blue and purple box dye on my hair at home and it came out darker than I wanted. I’m pretty easy going about my hair, but I thought I’d treat myself and it get it redone at the salon since I’ve been feeling depressed lately. Got a same day appointment which was great. I said several times I liked the royal blue color but I wanted it brighter. I asked for ombré with blue roots, purple between and red ends. The stylist put color remover on and got all of the blue dye out of my strawberry blonde hair. After processing my roots were even darker & duller, now a gray turquoise color; most of my hair was a very dark purple color. That’s a blessing because the blue is such an ugly color I’m happy there is little of it showing. I said right away I didn’t like it and it wasn’t what I asked for. When I commented it was not brighter the stylist told me it might brighten up as it faded. That’s preposterous. She then asked for full payment while apologizing about my hair. She offered to let me come back and put more blue hair dye over the roots for free, I commented that wouldn’t make it brighter. I said I was happier with the way it looked before I came in. At no point did she offer to fix it by using color remover or a lightening product or offer any other suggestions to help me get the outcome I asked for. I declined to have a picture taken of the results which she asked to do. When I called back and said I’d come back to just have it covered up with a solid color since I’m so unhappy with it she told me she she is booked and couldn’t get me in until 5 days later. When I got the receipt from the transaction yesterday at 3:30pm it asked for feedback and I relayed all this information; including that had the box dye not come out I would understand and live with what I got. It is 11am the next day and I’m going to assume they don’t read the feedback daily because otherwise they are just not responding to a client who had a bad experience and shared that with them. This was obviously an error on the colorists part. The response has been utterly inadequate though. I did not get what I asked for, they did not offer to fix it they offered to cover it up, and couldn’t make time for me until nearly a week later. I left feeling like they didn’t care about the outcome or my experience. I’m so unhappy I cancelled the ‘free’ follow up appointment and will probably just put some box dye over it until it grows out. Mitsy has been doing such a great job on my hair for the past 10 years! She is really calm, and her hands are gentle and coordinated. It is very relaxing to get my hair cut from her. Also, she doesn’t talk incessantly to her clients like so many other hairdressers do.

Paid $27 for a regular men’s haircut, the absolute worst haircut I’ve ever had. It was so bad I had to go in the next day to get it fixed; still not good.Nice people working here though. Let’s blame it on Covid!
