My experience with Shaun was nothing short of exceeding my expectations. I approached getting hair extensions very hesitantly as I had read online that my hair length would be too short for blending. Thankfully, after seeing Shaun’s portfolio, I saw that he had produced amazing results for people whose hair was even shorter than mine! He made sure I felt comfortable and satisfied with my extensions, his amazing personality complemented the whole experience. I felt so joyful when I saw the final results, I have long hair now! I have been going to Shaun for my haircuts, color and extensions for nearly fifteen years. He is not only and an exceptional hairstylist but I also now consider him a trusted friend. His home salon is cozy, private and spotless. He makes my visits comfortable and is always a gracious host ( offering snacks, coffee, tea, etc). As far as his work goes, he is meticulous. i have very fine hair and get extensions to give it volume and length. My closest friends couldn’t even tell that I had extensions until I showed them. I am always complimented on my cut and color. His prices are extremely reasonable. i have no reservations giving Shaun and his salon five stars!!!

I was planning to do extensions for a long time but I was afraid I might go to the wrong salon. I searched online and saw his hair extensions salon. My goal for extension is not to get longer, it’s to get thicker. Shuan did the great job. He is so nice, patient and explain how those extensions works. His service is absolutely amazing. He will fix your hair till you satisfied with it. I highly recommend his salon.

While Shaun is great for conversation Ive never felt so taken advantage of because of my niceness by a professional. While I would walk out of his house happy and looking great it did not last beyond a week or so. He would have anyone think that I took advantage of him because while there were times he allowed me to pay in payments his astronomical fees were not what he expects his clients to pay for. I had the service of having extensions put in at a whopping $475 for installation and $175 for tightening. Well after about a week my tracks were lose and Id inevitably have to get a tightening. I wasnt aware at that time there were other salons out there that charge much cheaper for much better quality work only disadvantage is in redwood city you have to travel either over the Dumbarton or San Mateo bridge. He blamed me for not paying enough making me feel like a swindler when I was the one getting swindled. At the time I was also a single mother going thru a very hard time in life and he knew that. I dont know. My experience wasnt the best. As for cuts and coloring I cant speak on that. Hopefully not all his clients get treated this way. Thousands of dollars later….
