The stylists who are left are great, but the new owner removed all of the functional furniture, selection of hair products, jewelry and manicure services. When my hair stylist of many years retired I was anxious about finding someone new. I made an appointment with Tera at Hair Etc. and was very happy with the outcome. The shop is very updated and clean and Tera gave me a stylish cut that is easy for me to blow dry. I have received numerous compliments on my hair and have continued to do business with her.

Tara Pagador was the worst hair dresser ever!! Refused to do anything I wanted. I walked out in tears, and she didn’t care. Told me I’d just have to get used to it. I now have to deal with an embarrassing butched, really short cut…when I wanted shoulder length, tapers/layers around my face, per several pics I showed her. Also charged me for FULL highlights when I only received partial highlights. She left the whole back dark!! Uneven on sides and she couldn’t layer hair at all. She refused to give my money back or compensate in any way…hung up on me when I called to talk to her.

Tera, the new owner, gave me THE BEST HAIR CUT AND COLOR OF MY LIFE. No exaggeration here, ladies – the services here are excellent. And, she was an absolute pleasure to talk to during my visit too. The space is comfortable and clean, with a gorgeous blue velvet couch, pretty rugs,high-quality hair products, a super cool art display supplied by an up-and-coming Denver artist, and brand new service chairs and shampoo stations. Tera has worked her tail off to update and improve this space, and she’s done a great job in a very short time. My search for great hair services in the Conifer/Evergreen area is over!

I must say I’m a little shocked with all The negative reviews! I understand that design is a personal opinion; however, my opinion is the place looks great; it’s updated with a fresh look! Clearly, she’s working with an old building, so there’s only so much she can do. The previous hair etc., was filthy dirty everything looked like it had a layer of dust on it; it was so cluttered with the weirdest items you couldn’t even tell what was in there! Thankfully, it no longer looks like a 70s thrift store anymore and actually looks like a salon! I must say some of the old hairstylists that left needed to go away with that old dirty 70s look that used to be the OLD hair etc. I’ve had my hair done there three times, and all three times, she did; a fabulous job! There may not be a lot of products sitting on the shelf collecting dust or the prices being reduced because nobody purchased them like the old hair etc.! However, have you Inquired about different products? Have you asked if she could order something for you? Maybe you should start there instead of leaving a negative review!!! I did ask if a product could be ordered, and she said yes, no hesitation; she just said yes, that easy!
