Positive: ProfessionalismI have to say at first I was scared to get my hair cut because last year I went to a different salon and the hair stylist didn’t give me the cut I wanted even though I explained it to her and showed her pictures. When I booked an appointment with hair ego I got a feeling that I wasn’t going to get what I wanted again but, they booked me with Karina and let me tell you she gave me exactly what I wanted! I wasn’t going to write a review but I did because I love how my hair looks and feels Karina did an amazing job. I have to say at first I was scared to get my hair cut because last year I went to a different salon and the hair stylist didn’t give me the cut I wanted even though I explained it to her and showed her pictures. When I booked an appointment with hair ego I got a feeling that I wasn’t going to get what I wanted again but, they booked me with Karina and let me tell you she gave me exactly what I wanted! I wasn’t going to write a review but I did because I love how my hair looks and feels Karina did an amazing job. If you’re going to book an appointment here get Karina she knows exactly what shes doing.

Critical: ProfessionalismI am completely shocked at the way l was treated. I cancelled only 2 appointments with plenty of notice (I’ve been living in cutler bay for 4 years) and when l called today to schedule an appointment (several months later) l was told by Amanda very rudely that she would have to call me back (with no reason) and then hung up. I called back an hour later because l have never been told this before when l went to schedule, they usually know their availability. That’s when she told me that she had a note on the account that she couldn’t schedule me due to me canceling. Wow, why wouldn’t you tell me that the first call. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I am a local client and will make sure to never recommend this place. I had no preference on hair stylist. They could have scheduled me with someone else if the person l canceled on was upset, not completely cut out a local client in that matter. Good luck if this is the way you run your business. When I asked to speak to the manager I was then told that the manager would not be in until 3pm. So, l would have had to wait that long to schedule an appointment for today? I am completely shocked at the way l was treated. I cancelled only 2 appointments with plenty of notice (I’ve been living in cutler bay for 4 years) and when l called today to schedule an appointment (several months later) l was told by Amanda very rudely that she would have to call me back (with no reason) and then hung up.
