Alexis Ferrell is a master stylist making her mark at Almost Heaven Salon & Spa in Shelby, North Carolina. With over nine years of experience, Alexis specializes in precision cutting, balayage, and designing cut/color combos. She knows everyone’s hair is different, so she takes care to make sure every hair design she creates is suited for a client’s face shape, skin-tone, and daily hair-care routine. Alexis began her odyssey into the world of hair at Paul Mitchell The School Charlotte, where she graduated in 2013 at the top of her class. Since then, Alexis has strived to improve her skills, staying up to date on all the latest trends from Charlotte and beyond. In her free time, Alexis enjoys hiking, yoga, and painting.

I had an amazing experience with Alexis! I booked two appointments with her to do my senior prom hair, one as a trial run, and the second on the day of my prom. I wanted to go for a 1960s beehive inspired updo, but I was worried about the weight and how long it would stay up due to my hair being very long, but Alexis 100% pulled it off! My hair looked gorgeous and it stayed up all night long with no issues!! Alexis did an absolutely wonderful job and I had such a pleasant experience with her!

I’ve been having my brunette to blonde hair done by Alexis and she is AWESOME! She is so nice and friendly, and she kills it every time! Today I wanted something different and asked for a big chop and ashy balayage and I’m so glad I went to her because she absolutely NAILED IT! It turned out even better than the picture I showed her, and you wouldn’t know I had so much bleach on my hair because she keeps my hair so healthy and soft. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and inclusive, and being there feels like home! If you’re wanting blonde or balayage – definitely SEE ALEXIS!
