The day before I made an easy online appointment for full highlight, cut, and blowdry. I arrived and was greeted by name by my stylist, Hannah. She was very pleasant to talk with and a great listener. She used a gel color to protect my older hair, and applied a special sealer so that my hair looked healthy and fabulous! The cut was just what I wanted and the price was very reasonable! Plus this Hair Cuttery had a friendly receptionist to handle interruptions. Overall, a great experience and i will be back. This place has gone down hill. Use the once to get my hair done and the girl was nice and fixed my hair. Since then been trying to make appointments and that’s impossible. Then I get a call about appointment was canceled due to being under staff/couldn’t find another person, due to employee that was out. I understand things happen and wish the best for that employee but since you knew about since yesterday then things should have happen a lot sooner with your appointment booking. The booking should have been closed so that people can’t make appointments. Now I have to search around for someone to do my hair before an event tonight.

I just wanted to leave a review and acknowledge how amazing Patty was! as someone who’s never had my hair professionally dyed before, she made me feel so relaxed, comfortable and walked me through every step, she also educate me on the balayage process and how to keep up with my hair afterwards. I visited this salon today and the stylist was not familiar with African American hair. Instead of telling me there was no one available to do my hair they allowed her to proceed and it was a disaster. So much so that I had to take the blow dryer and finish drying my hair because I couldn’t go outside with a wet head. However, instead of the other two stylist there actually helping her or providing instruction, they reprimanded me for using “their” styling tools not going to a “specialty” salon. As if there is something special about a basic wash and blow dry. I have been to this salon in the past with no issues so this comment was insulting and discriminatory. Salons should be able to accept any client and if you can’t just say that so I can go somewhere else instead of wasting over 2 hours of my time.

I don’t know why the staff in this salon has changed. but change to a very unprofessional side. there is only one employee left who can’t do anything. you make an appoiment. upon arrival, you only find out that they cannot perform the procedure for you, without any notification. some nonsense. all weekend plans are ruined. you have to change something because it was a good salon, it turns into nothing. I used to visit the salon twice a week, now it is impossible to make an appointment. wow…
