The ladies were very nice and very friendly with their customers but let me just tell you how bad DAKOTA did my hair cut.. i came in with uneven haircut and i told her to just cut it shorter and make it look even, so basically just a straight cut nothing fancy. it took her almost an hour to do my haircut and she took a while focusing at the back of my hair. The next day after showering my hair looks like somebody butchered it. They look uneven like a kid did my hair and i dont even wanna tell you what the back of my hair looks like. A lot of people are telling me how uneven my hair is.I dont write reviews but this one is an exception. Not going back again.

Booked for a kids haircut with Anna and she was very afraid to cut and not comfortable. Remove or don’t take kids haircuts then. He’s 3 and squirmy but when the stylist is also squirmy. Adds to the anxiety. Better communication is needed.Also during Check-in, they just check you in and walk away without a word.

Do not go here if u plan to actually get any service. I was told a bs wait time by their main stylist and she spent more time talkin than doing her job and forgot she had someone waiting in waiting room. They then told me they could not take me due to appointments coming in. I had an hour of my time wasted here to not recieve any service. These women pick and choose who they will see and disregard people waiting. ABSOLUTE WORST SALON SERVICE EVER

The Barrington Rd location is managed by Tracey – I’ve followed Tracey and some of her team from Palatine to this location, and when necessary all the way out to some place called Sleepy Hollow! I was one of those mid-life blondes who paid a fortune to keep my (somewhat tricky) hair color and condition looking like it did in my 30s, until I found this team did a better job on cut and color at WAY less cost than those boutique color salons, and without having to book four weeks in advance. Part of their success is likely due to the low turnover – at a time when no one can keep employees, somehow Tracey manages to keep her teams together year after year as they advance their skills and education.
