I used to get my hair cut at the Rose Plaza location in Sycamore, but after my previous stylist left, I decided to go with Elgin as there was same day availability and it’s a bit closer to my house. I ended up being assigned to Yadira, and she did an amazing job. She was very thorough in understanding what I wanted, took her time to get everything right, and went through several rounds of making my hair “just a bit shorter,” to get everything exactly how I wanted it. To be honest, the last few times I’d gotten my hair cut at the other salon, there had been some element I wasn’t perfectly happy with. Not this time. I left feeling completely happy with how I looked.

Critical: ProfessionalismI was supposed to have a haircut and 9am and when I got there at 9 I was told that my appointment was cancelled because the stylist had a family emergency. That is completely fine, emergencies happen but the stylist that opened up the salon was not helpful at all. Skyler is an amazing colorist and stylist. I’ve seen her several times and my hair always comes out better than anticipated. I’ve brought in pictures of what I want and she nails it everytime. She’s creative and has great vision on what would look best on her clients. We always have great conversation. Check her out she doesn’t disappoint.

Jenn is excellent as a stylist and highly customer focused. I am at the salon weekly plus have color and kerratin treatments. I love the work that she does with my curly hair which we flat iron so it is straight. I enjoy her conversation and her positive demeanor. Love this salon so much! It has a great atmosphere and is very professional. Yanira is wonderful!! Every time she does my hair she is super welcoming and has an upbeat personality. Most importantly, my hair always turns out incredible the color is perfect and the shine is amazing and the hairstyle is right on. It really shows that she cares about the way my hair turns out.
