I am attending a formal wedding tonight and am completely clueless with what to do with my hair. I wasn’t looking to spend $80+ on an updo, so I thought I’d give Hair Cuttery a shot, which may not be the first place you’d think of when scheduling a formal style. I have been looking all over for a place to get my hair cut. I went to Hair Cuttery my whole life but moved away from my original place. I decided I would give this one a try. Gwen was so sweet and very knowledgeable! She helped guide me to a great haircut for my curly hair. I plan to come back when I get my hair colored and for routine trims.

I went in for a haircut and blow dry. I was shampooed and the cut was already started when I was forced to wear a mask, instead of letting me know when I walked in. I asked for less than 2 inches taken off. Bernice cut 5 inches off instead. I canceled my blow dry, got home and saw the cut was completely uneven.

A year + since getting my hair professionally cut! I bought clippers last year and just shaved my head so I’d say this visit was an improvement. Friendly staff, my hairstylist (Gwen??) was pretty sweet and patient with whatever I was trying to go for.

She said it atleast 10 times. She could’ve gave the job to someone else if she couldn’t control it. My youngest was crying so she barely cut but still charged me full for it. Had a great experience. Haven’t gotten a haircut in months. I’m very pleased with the experience. Only one other person was there, so social distancing was great. They really followed all the covid guidelines too. I’d recommend this store.
