Zeke is amazing! My girls get an education about their hair and pro tips while he is working with them. My elder daughter (special needs-Autistic) loved how Zeke explained everything he was going to do before doing it. He put her at ease. He spoke to her as he does to all his clients and was patient and knowledgeable. Zeke really understands all different hair types (my girls go from curly to wavy to straight) and he did a beautiful job with their hair. Now I’m going to see him myself for my color and cut. Zeke is our guy but the entire staff is so welcoming and wonderful! This Hair Cuttery is a special one!

I had a wonderful experience the first time I went and had Sarah, I came back and this time around I had Carina. She was amazing, she explained my pricing down to every service. It had been about a year since I last had my hair done at Hair Cuttery in Fishhawk but still a little surprised that all the stylists I’ve known there for the last 5 years were gone. Sarah did a great job on my hair! I came in to have my clip-in extensions put it and an updo done. My price was discussed in the the consultation and was agreed upon. I was at the register, being rung out, the manager left her client in the shampoo bowl to run to the front of the salon to tell Sarah (infront of me as well) that there is an additional charge (almost $20 higher) for putting in my extensions. (I’ve never had to pay for this in the past). I was blown away at the lack of profesionalism from the manager. I already agreed to a price and unexpectedly had to pay a much higher price. To announce that infront of a client and to leave your client does not set a good look for yourself and to the rest of the salon. What a lack of leadership and profesionalism!!! I wish I was able to give Sarah 5 stars because she definately deserves it, the manager deserves 0.

I made a reservation,when I look at the price online for what I need it,just a blowout, it said from 25..I select any stylist..I got there, told the lady what I needed, she started blowdrying my hair with a regular hair brush,like a square one,not a round one,when she finished,my hair looked like if I did it at home in a hurry; she said,I’m going to do the flat iron,she did it,at the end,I’m not happy with my hair,I’m going to pay,and she said it’s 54 dolars!!! I’m like what? And she said,it’s because I used the flat iron!! Well if you have done a good job you wouldn’t have used the flat iron…she said ok,it’s 36,which it’s still very expensive…definitely not going back

As a young man with longer curly hair I am always cautious of who I let handle my hair and avoid cuts altogether. I wouldn’t normally go to a Haircuttery or other chain locations but the Fishhawk Haircuttery is an exception. Michelle took care of me and my cut came out great, it’s as if she read my mind! I also know that Zeke works here and while he hasn’t personally cut my hair he had been a stylist for many of my friends several years back and is well trusted. Seems they have a great team running the place and I will be back in a few months for another cut.

Had a 10 am appointment for a haircut and blowout. Waited until 10:40 because Paije was running behind. She asked lots of questions to make sure she knew what I wanted. Took her time on my cut, but used thinning sissors. My fine hair looks really thin now!! The blow out was rushed and HORRIBLE. Probably the worst blowout I have ever had. Super expensive. Not worth salon prices for the service I received.
