First and foremost I want to say I am super picky and hard to impress. I took my 11 year old to get a haircut she wanted long layers specifically, I chose to book with James based of reviews and let me tell you he was awesome. Elizabeth put the final touch with the amazing blow dry. My daughter and I loved the results and everything took about 45 mins. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, we will definitely return.

Was not happy. I told James I wanted red highlights in my hair, he said he did not have the time to do that. He dyed my hair a color I did not ask for, and left dye all over the frame of my face… here I am two days later, and I’m still trying to remove the dye off my face. Also, now looking at my hair in the light of my bathroom, and looking closer in the mirror, I see that there are still white hair, so obviously, the dye did not take. I told him I wanted layers so that when I wear my hair curly, it’ll curl from the top of my head. Did not cut the layers short enough. Then he hands me off to someone else to ‘blow out’ my hair, I told her I wanted volume, and if he would’ve cut the layers shorter, then maybe I would’ve have the style I was looking for. And she left my hair frizzy. Meanwhile, James, who said he did not have time to highlight my hair, was sitting on his chair looking through his phone. So… not happy, not recommending to anyone, and I will do my best NOT to go there again. While he was washing my hair, one of the other stylists asked about a discount for an elderly person, on their product… and he says..’No, but that, maybe tomorrow the sale begins’. The hair tech accidentally cut about 5 inches of hair because she picked up regular scissors instead of thinning shears. She was quick to swap the scissors for the shears as if nothing happened. My wife is not a very confrontational person and in the moment she thought that was what happened BUT she gave the tech the benefit of the doubt. The tech said nothing of this and carried on with the hair cut. My wife gets home and confirms that there is a church of hair GONE. Now she’s upset. I’m upset. I get it, accidents happen. Own up to it. Having said I accidentally cut your hair off and these are some options to fix it would be the best way to go about it. Give the client the option on what to do. Now we’re in a situation whether we pay again to fix it but cut more hair off to make it work or let it grow out and fix it in the future. Just be honest.
