First off, the ladies were very friendly which is why I gave 2 stars. My cut unfortunately was less than desirable. I went in for a quick cut after having my appointment on 21st canceled. She was very friendly. I showed her with my hands about where I wanted my hair to lay (several inches below the shoulders) and asked for about 4 inches or so off. I also asked for long layers. I’m pretty simple when it comes to hair and rarely have time to style so I like to keep it simple and long enough to put in a ponytail. To say my hair was butchered is an understatement. I had very long hair and now it barely touches my shoulders and because of the short layers there are pieces that won’t fit into a ponytail. It goes from shoulder length to ear length and is impossible for me to style and make it look decent down. It also looks terrible in a ponytail. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Walked in to get my split ends cut. Tauheedah was great, nice and welcoming and fixed me up real nice. I definitely will be returning when my split ends get out of control again. Great place overall didn’t have too much of a wait.

I’m so disappointed I had a 9:00 appointment and I was there at 8:45am. 8:58 I walked and stood outside waited for 9:00 to be served but the two ladies just kept counting money and writing.

I went in to get a taper on each side of my head and some cut off to start give it a little bit of style and I had to start the guy from cutting my hair because it wasn’t going the way it should’ve been going. Asked the manager which was the woman to come over and look at it and she told me he know what he’s doing but instead she had to come and take some of the top and try to fix when he didn’t know what he was doing and I don’t appreciate it and I want my money back back

A friend of mine went in for a specific hair cut (curtain bangs and a simple trim) We told them what she wanted and the person who was cutting her hair didn’t even know what it was. It was our own fault for deciding to get her hair done there after that response. When my friend got into the chair she kept asking her if that’s what she really wanted, like positively wanted, and it gave her a lot of anxiety about it. I feel like a professional wouldn’t do that. The trim came out great but my friend didn’t like the outcome of the curtain bangs

I was charged $30 for a haircut and I did not request a shampoo only the hair cut. I normally pay $23 but when it was time to pay the stylist charge $30 which does not make sense I am aware the master stylist prices are different but their prices are not listed on the board. I just got a basic cut no design and because of the fee so decided not to go back. I have been a customer at the Janaf shop for years and have received great service but that $30 haircut without shampoo make me feel like after Covid this is price gouging trying to recoup. Found another beauty shop and a haircut is not $30
