Horty did an excellent job with my boys. The other lady didn’t shampoo my other son’s hair and Horty made sure he was taken care of before he left as well. She took her time with both of my boys and my oldest son absolutely loved his hair and doesn’t want another stylist. They both only want to go to her which says a lot. My girlfriend recently had an appointment there to get a color and highlight. She was satisfied with the results but was dissatisfied with how long she was there (4 hours). Not only did she feel that the service was overpriced, she was not told how much it was going to be until she was paying at the end. She was going based on the prices listed on the website and previous service history, in which she was told about pricing prior to starting the service. There should definitely be some sort of price breakdown during the consultation, the process and how long it should all take. Her stylist did not address these things in the beginning of the service and It was very upsetting to know her time and budget were not taken into consideration. Based on these things, she will no longer be coming to hair cuttery again and will be seeking a new stylist.

My teenage daughter got a haircut there and was charged not only $35 for a haircut, wash and blowout, but then was charged an additional up charge of $13 for a long hair blowout. When I called and complained the lady on the phone explained that it’s an up charge. When I complained that they should not have charged her twice for the same dang thing. Her hair is not even long, barely past her shoulders. Absurd and rude to take advantage of a teenager who doesn’t know better.

I dont remember who worked on my hair but i paid for a bleach and dye job and she fried my hair. They need better training/ more diverse staff that are younger than 65 and have encountered people of different ethnicities. I asked for a red ombre and she didn’t know how to do a gradient, and miscalculated how long to leave the bleach in my hair due to me not being a blonde i guess. Please do better. They did not seem to be friendly or open to younger people. I didn’t feel welcome.
