I walked in on a Saturday at 5:10 pm to get the hair on the back of my neck trimmed. That’s all! (Closing time was 6pm.) The guy working was talking to a customer. When he finally acknowledged me, he said “Let me see if she’s still here”. He walked in the back, came back out, and told me that everyone had left for the day, and that he was finishing up his last customer for the day. I looked at him for a second, and decided not to even try to spend my money there! I ended up going to Great Clips in Perry Hall, where I was charged $6.00 for a neck trim. With tip included, it was still cheaper than what I would have been charged at the Hair Cuttery! I know where I’ll be going from now on! I had been here once before (for a regular hair cut), and the service was okay.

my service was going good at first everything was good … But the man bleached my hair & im guessing he put PERMANENT dye in my hair which i don’t believe you’re supposed to do after ah bleach lol. Critical: QualityI visited this salon for services a few times back in 2020. The salon manager did my hair. Although she was nice, and patient because I didn’t know what to do with my hair. She suggested a Keratin Treatment along with other things, like a cut and color.I thought it may be a good idea. She told me Keratin is all natural with no chemicals. That was not a true statement. Fast forward to 6 months later, my hair is dry, shedding and fills like a brillo pad. From reading up on keratin treatments myself, it’s not suitable for all hair types. Also my hair was shedding during the second and third visit and she was applying treatments. I hope they weren’t protein treatments. My hair is damaged now.
