Kimberly is an amazing and sweet person but I asked her to do a full highlight on my hair and make them gold but instead she toned my hair darker then what I wanted. she rushed through the whole thing because she thought should have to stay late which I understand I wouldn’t want to stay late as well but I just felt like she rushed through everything and didnt listen to what I wanted and did whatever she wanted to my hair. I received a haircut from a woman named Padmavathi (name was sent to me in her review link, she did not give me her name personally). The entire experience was stressful. As for the haircut, I didn’t get the cut I asked for which was just layers and curtain bangs. Instead, it took an hour and a half for uneven long layers and a straight chop at chin length in the front of my face. The amount of times she put a roller on top of my head and rolled it down with all the hair falling out, and then ripping it off my head and doing it over again left me with breakage and what looks like baby hairs. When I got home, half of the right side of the front of my hair hadn’t been cut. Normally i’m okay with having to go home and fix a few pieces, but her lack of professional mannerisms really bothered me and prompted this review. I have a lot of hair, although very fine. She constantly told me my hair was coarse and thin (never heard those ones before) and a continuously mumbled “oh my god” every! single! time! she cut or combed my hair. Sorry for wanting my hair cut I guess? It took 10 minutes for her to make the second cut because she kept dropping my hair and then told me she couldn’t see where she cut. When cutting my bangs, I asked her to cut less of my hair and I was met with “well it’s because your hairs thin”. No…. it’s not. When she finished, she ended with excuses about why it looked the way it did rather than asking if I liked it or if she could change anything. Couldn’t find her on DPOR for a license either. Won’t recommend and won’t go back.
