Critical: Cleanliness, PunctualityI had a rough experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. So we had a 5:50pm appointment for two haircuts. They had technical difficulties, which made them be behind. Which is totally understandable! We waited an hour outside with a mask on and we noticed people who arrived after us and later appointments were jumping in front of us. We asked a total of 6 times how much longer. We had a lady complaining about her 6:45pm appointment being pushed back and she also got ahead of us. Another hour later I was finally taken in. I had to ask the lady who forgot to clean the chair to clean it. They told us my partners haircut would be free. Then they charged us for his haircut, didn’t have change, and we had no choice to pay $40 for a MANS haircut. With my haircut they forgot to blow dry my hair. I understand mistakes happen, and with the technical difficulties make it hard. But we were ignored for two hours and all we got were “I’m sorry”. At that point, we were too hungry and tired and wanted to leave ASAP. They are nice people, but we are not going back to it. At the end, we paid $80 for two haircuts which is rather ridiculous. We certainly should’ve gotten a discount for the headache. I had a rough experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. So we had a 5:50pm appointment for two haircuts. They had technical difficulties, which made them be behind. I’ve never had a bad haircut experience until Sean. I felt like I was his first client and that he had no idea what he was doing. He cut my hair too short and it was uneven all over. Another male stylist came over and took over for Sean but the damage was done. Sean even asked another stylist how to use the blow dryer. I had to go to another place later the same day for someone to fix it but even they couldn’t fully fix it cause now it’s too short. I have to wait for my hair to grow out a little more before it can be completely fixed.

Critical: ProfessionalismToday was my first time visiting this salon ,and I only wanted a blow out and trim. I called the salon two days prior explaining that I am a black woman with curl hair ,then went into depth about my curl pattern and texture. Next, I asked for a quote. I was told the cost would be $27 or $35 the most. When I came in today for my hair appointment I was told that it will be around $60. Also, that just a trim is $20. I asked why I was quoted the price range between $27 to $35. She said it was because of my hair. During the conversation she points to a person not of color with straight silky hair walking by and said her hair would be $27 for the same style. I appreciated her apology. However, I felt completely embarrassed by the situation. I only brought $40 cash and she already washed my hair. So I had to leave out with wet and supposedly clean hair. I had an appointment today, and when I got there I was told to sit down and wait. The lady that was supposed cut my hair was 15 minutes late to work. then she proceeded to sweep a costumers hair (that she did not helped) and then leaned on the chair and started chatting with her fellow coworker before she went to the back to chat some more with her other co-worker. I waited for 25 minutes before I decided to walked out. No sense of urgency or wanting to make money. Very Unprofessional. What’s the point of the appointment?
