I took my elderly mother for a haircut as she has been cutting it herself and she was looking straggly. We didn’t have an appointment, but we were told that we could be accommodated in about 10 minutes. When Julia was ready for my mom, she listened carefully to what she was looking for. She was very patient with her and took the time shaping up my mother’s hair and made sure everything looked perfect before she turned her around the mirror. She was incredibly thoughtful and took the time to clean up my mom’s stray eyebrow also. It had been a very rough morning for us as we received a medical diagnosis for her that we did not want to hear and the care and thoughtfulness of Julia will not be forgotten! My mother enjoyed being pampered and was very happy with her new hairdo.

Simple haircut $30.00 plus $5.00 tip. Hair Cuttery in Beltsville, MD charged $7.00. Did not received my senior discount either. No blowdry, no extras. I could have done a better job myself as my hair is so short. Not planning to ever go back; I will be saving money for gas and other necessities instead of throwing it away at the Hair Cuttery.

I recently visited Hair Cuttery for a haircut and was generally satisfied with my experience. The stylist was friendly and did a good job cutting my hair. However, I was a bit disappointed that they shampooed my hair before the cut. This seemed to achieve nothing and just added an extra step to the process. In the future, I would prefer if they just sprayed my hair with water and then cut it, and shampoo after would cleanup all the bits and messes. That being said, the overall experience was not bad and I would give Hair Cuttery a 4 out of 5 stars.
