I came here for the first time today and was serviced by Lien. I do not understand why there are so many awful, rude comments about her on the reviews. Lien was wonderful. She was very polite and cut my hair even though I did not have an appointment. I wanted to try out a new look and was not sure what I wanted. She helped me figure it out and did an amazing job with the cut. She also recommended product that went well with my hair and showed me how to style it. I will definitely be coming back when I need another cut.

Nisar was awesome. She trimmed my hair for me and did a wonderful job. I had just colored my hair today and had hair coloring all around my hair line. Absolutely terrible. I’ve been three times and unfortunately I’ve been stuck with Lien (not sure on spelling) each time. She is rude to everyone who walks in and she absolutely disregards what I say and does a horrible job each time. When I told her not to cut the top for my son because my wife wanted it long, she immediately butchered it with clippers. She kept arguing “it same as scissor,” referring to the size 4 clippers, and while that’s absolutely not the same cut as scissors, I specifically told her not to cut it at all. All the haircuts I’ve had from her have been uneven and painfully slow. Looking at the rest of the reviews, I have no idea how this person still has a job, never mind charging more than other stylists. Definitely request someone else.

Do not let the Asian lady touch your hair, I think her name is Lian. I told her I wanted curtain bangs, she knew exactly what I was talking about. Described it to me & showed me about where they would fall when done. It looks like she just haphazardly chopped chunks off the front, nothing is even. They are angled the wrong way, the farther from my face they get shorter. She cut it too short to even be able to go elsewhere to get it fixed. There’s no possible way that woman is licensed. She absolutely butchered it.

It’s even worse than when my 5 year old sister cut it when we were kids. More time was spent washing my hair than cutting it. I wanted the back evened up and the top about an inch cut. She cut the front and it was too long. I told her to cut it a little more. She took one chunk out of my middle bangs. It looks terrible. I look like Moe on the Three Stooges….at least his is even though.I really wonder if she even had her license. She might have been the shampoo girl. I went to the hair cuttery in governors square yesterday to-get my hair washed, cut, and dried. I was the only customer in there. The oriental lady took me to the back and sat me down. I noticed that she didn’t have her mask on correctly. I asked her to please pull it up. She laughed and said “This is how I wear it”. I again asked her to pull it over her mouth and nose. She again refused. She also told me that I would have to take mine off so she could cut my hair. I told her I would not. I also asked her if she was vaccinated and she said that was none of my business. She was very snippy! So I told her that if she wouldn’t, I would leave. She laughed. I am 70 years old and Covid scares me. So I stood up and walked out. I will never go back to that place again!!
