This is my second time coming to this location and my second time having Terrance cut my hair. I live in Connecticut and have family in the near by area and I made a point to wait until I was back in the area to get my hair trimmed by him! He is that good. I got so many compliments on my cut and style. Others were actually disappointed Terrance was not a local hairdresser in Connecticut! I will definitely be back. The other staff was friendly and Tatiana was very personable and did a great job shampooing my hair.

I don’t write reviews often, but I have to say that I’ve been coming here for 11 years and had good experiences, but the highlights never came out exactly like I wanted, but it was good enough. Well, today I had Terrence and he was AMAZING!!! He sat and listened to what happened with my hair (this past year has destroyed it) and had a lot tips and answers and explained everything that he recommended to get my hair back (and color I wanted). I’ve never had a stylist sit and talk to me and help me like that. That alone impressed me. The results were fantastic and can’t explain how happy I am with the color, cut, and care he put into my hair. I told him if he ever leaves, I’m coming to find him (because now I don’t want anyone else to touch my hair, haha).

I’ve had good experiances at other Cuttery locations in the area so I gave this one a shot. I had a blowout done and the second I saw this stylist use a regular wide brush to do my blow out I questioned it. It was used the whole time! I though it was going to get swapped out with a barrel brush. I have better tools at home then this but I went because I was on a time constraint. The end result was not great considering I am paying for this service. It was just a dry brush, not close to a blow out. It was said that it was because my hair was dry but mind you I was at another Cuttery 2 weeks prior for a trim and blow dry and she did a great job! Anyways I went home added some oil, curls and it was fixed. I was suprised they also charged me more than their cut package maybe I will stick to my other locations. To make this a more helpful review for someone thinking about getting a blowout because I wouldn’t avoid this place just because of my one specific service: My hair is curly/wavy, long, semi thick and dense, and dye blonde. Hence a brush like that would definitly make my hair dryier then it already is. I’m only making a review because I was able to fix my hair at home, if I couldn’t then yes I would of blamed it on the condition of my hair.

I made an appointment at this Hair Cuttery because I needed my mother-in-law to watch my daughter, and it’s close to her home. Never been to this location before, so I didn’t ask for a specific stylist. I don’t like to stylist-hop, but I haven’t been able to find someone that can give me the cut I ask for, so I was fine going somewhere new. I’ve always thought that I must not be explaining the cut I’m looking for, well enough, but that all changed today. I can’t express enough how happy I am with my cut. Truthfully, probably one of the nicest hair styles I’ve ever had. I’d give 5 stars, alone, for the shampooing I received. My stylist was Donna Roman. She was friendly, professional, didn’t rush through the cut, and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I will absolutely be going back to her! Thank you, Donna!
