Went to get my hair cut and eyebrows done right before having another baby, so I hopefully would feel better and have fewer steps in my routine once the baby is born. Left with the worst, most overdone and uneven eyebrows I’ve ever had, and now having to spend even more time and money in a (probably futile) effort to get my now too thin eyebrows to grow back. The stylist (whose name I don’t want to share publicly because she was very kind) clearly had NO idea how to do eyebrows at all. I’ve had my brows done at other HC locations without issue. When she asked what I wanted, I said “please just clean them up, don’t change the shape. I like to keep them more natural and full.” They likely needed a trim and tweezing—she didn’t do either; she only waxed them and took off half of one of my brows in the process. Now I have one brow that is just slightly overdone, still needed to be trimmed/cleaned up at home, but was mostly fixable. The other one is half the size, so thin, and uneven. I don’t even know if it will grow back. Maybe it was a waxing mistake that she didn’t want to admit? I truly have no other explanation for how terribly they turned out, and I am now so self-conscious and will need to take extra time and money to fill in and attempt to regrow my half an eyebrow for the next several months (if it ever grows back).

My hair had begun to go brunette, especially at the roots (I’m a natural dirty blonde) and wanted to get highlights to lighten it up a bit. I told my stylist all this and I had booked a partial highlight (7-12 foils). After we talked about what I wanted and confirmed everything she began. She put wayyy over the 12 foils in my hair (she still only charged me for the partial foil package which I was grateful for.) However, I now have unnatural, almost platimun roots that completely wash out my face. The mid lengths and ends all blend in relatively well, but I have no idea what to do with the top of my head… This is the lightest my hair has ever been and I first thought it was just shock, that I would get used to how light it was but its not shock. It’s just a terrible highlight job. Everytime I’ve gotten highlights (from other salons), the stylist would check the foils every 5 mins and the max they ever stayed in was about 10 minutes. This stylist left and came back 15-20mins later, checked my hair and then tore the foils out and washed.

Had the pleasure of getting Sophia for a last minute appointment. I didn’t think anyone could help because I had only 1 day free to try and get my hair highlighted before I had work. I told her if she couldn’t do it I would understand since it was short notice but she said she could and she did. I needed a whole head of highlights and then toner which took 4 hours but she worked so hard and got my whole head done. I felt amazing after and it looked great! She really knew her stuff and protected my hair amazingly!!! Thank you Sophia! Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Today I had an appointment at newtown square location according to the email confirmation and msg I received after booking an appointment online well in advance. I used this location in past and I never had any issues getting hair services from sofya. Sofya is very professional. But after my today’s encounter with Casey and Patti, I am not going to use this location. Casey and Patti they both are very rude and unprofessional. Rather than honoring my appointment they both keep denying. Patti even started raising her voice. It was so humiliating. In past I recommended this location to my friends but now I am gonna make sure not to. My advise if you are booking online appointment with Casey or Patti, please make sure to call the salon and get a verbal confirmation. Otherwise you gonna show up at the salon with confirmation in your hand and Casey and Patti will be there at the desk to call you a liar and humiliate you in from of other customers. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.
