Would never recommend. Was waiting to get my hair cut while my daughters hair was being cut and witnessed a straight up racist display. A poor young women of the Muslim faith was made to wait an hour and then basically refused service by the older white women hairdresser. They tried to explain away why they wouldn’t cut her hair because they didn’t have staff to blow dry her hair. come on really? There were 3 staff on duty. I heard the older white women employee say to the young women that she didn’t want to to cut her hair because it was too corse. I mean what the heck is that bs in 2022. Come on. The young women left in tears and the employee “needed a break”. Disgusting behavior. The employee is pictured below. Stop in to let them know that racist behavior won’t be tolerated.

I made an appointment online for the Hair Cuttery in Brookhaven. I was a few minutes early to my appointment and there were only 2 people working. The one person finished up with a client and afterwards went straight to the back while the other person who was in the middle of dying someone’s hair said she would be with me shortly. I thought the one girl would at least greet me or check me in. So I waited an additional 20 minutes past my appointment to be checked in. The girl who cut my hair was very friendly and did a great job. I would schedule with her again.

I was at this business today, and I knew I had to come on to see if there were false allegations to what occurred there this afternoon. To the man who reviewed before me, how can you say that the stylist was being racist when you only heard one side? That young lady that left in tears was so mean and rude to the stylist about to preform her service. She waited an hour because all stylists were busy attending to other clients. It’s a Saturday which is one of the busiest days. That young lady attacked the stylist and demeaned her profession and place of work multiple times. This man’s review below me is reckless and could cause harm to the stylists at this place of business! My hair cut was fantastic, and the stylists who work there are amazing kind hearted people.
