We came here for our sons first haircut and he sat so well and looked so cute. We called yesterday (Thursday) because we needed his hair done before Saturday and she was able to fit us in. Despite my son screaming his head off and fighting the whole time, she did an amazing job! We will definitely be coming here for all future appointments and recommending for anyone with kids.

I asked in mom groups and everybody was recommending places over an hour away. After a quick Google search I found hair creations and was happy to see that they had the car chairs and really seemed to cater to kids plus they were only 10 minutes from my house. All I have to say is…. how is everyone not recommending this place?? It must be a hidden jem! I was blown away by the experience!They had a HUGE playroom for the kids while waiting, seriously it could have doubled as a daycare and my kids were sad to leave an begging to stay. The staff was amazing and handled my son so well. She was fast, kind, answered all of my questions about how to style and care for my sons VERY curly hair. They gave us a cute certificate with a photo and lock of hair. I brought both my kids here 1 and 4. They are absolutely amazing! She has a kid friendly area just for the kids. While one of my kids was getting a hair cut the other one would stay busy with toys and games! They definitely knew how to talk to the kids to do their best with the hair cut. I would definitely recommend anyone with kids to go here!

Took my son(2 years old) here for his second hair cut ever. His first hair cut was a lot, we went to a local place & I had to basically restrain him & distract him with youtube videos to get it done, & his hair wasn’t cut evenly or nicely due to him moving around. So I was pretty nervous about getting it done again.

I have been going to Nancy since I moved to Penn Twp in 2002. She always does a fantastic job and is fast and efficient and a talented stylist. I have taken my grandsons to her children’s salon and they absolutely love it. Nancy is so good with the boys and her kids salon is full of toys and great hair cutting chairs. My grandsons LOVE getting their haircut now. I recommend NANCY for your whole family’s salon needs.

She got to sit in a pink car, wore a princess cover to go over her outfit, and got a certificate with her picture and a lock of hair since it was her first haircut. The prices are also great. I absolutely love hair creations. They are so nice every time we go in. I take my son there a lot. He loves to sit in the cars or airplane while he gets his hair cut. They make sure my sons haircut is to my likening before he left the seat. They are not very close to my home so I travel and it is worth it. There was one time I had to go close to home to get his hair cut for his birthday and because I didn’t have the time to go to hair creations, and it didn’t come close to the job at hair creations. I highly recommend them.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI’ve been a patron at Hair Creations for about a year, or a little less. Every other visit, full color w foils for highlights & cut (about $164 + tip)—alternating visits, roots w a few top foils & cut (about $64). The color used doesn’t last more than about 3 weeks at this salon so she did the foils on top. While I’m told my hair grows fast, I know from experience, it’s also the color used & the way the highlights are put in.My last, Jan. 26, ‘21 visit Nancy argued a lot when I asked for longer top & side layers even though it’s what I’ve had done at other salons for years. After arguing she really hit me w a high price, for no reason! All along this visit for roots & top foils was $64; this time I was charged $114! $50 more!! I asked why?! Prices went up. How much? Cuts $2, color $5. That math does not add up & I told her so! She broke eye contact, shrugged & repeated it was $114.I am done at a place that takes prices down then rips people off! I don’t mind paying cash & I always try to tip good, even tho many don’t tip an owner. Don’t take horrible advantage of your customers! Every other visit, full color w foils for highlights & cut (about $164 + tip)—alternating visits, roots w a few top foils & cut (about $64).
