Where do I even start?! I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you’re looking for a great salon with even better stylists, stop your search and come here. I’ve been getting my haircut and colored by Nicole for years now and am always amazed of her dedication and love for what she does. The vibes and energy in the salon are truly incredible. From the moment you walk in, it feels like a weight is lifted off of your shoulders with the music that is playing, the beautiful plants and crystals. There is no place else that I would cut my hair.

The salon blew me away the second I walked inside… it was beautiful, smelled amazing and I just knew it was high quality. I saw Nicole who was fantastic, she listened to exactly what I wanted & delivered. My hair came out beautifully done. Christa is the BEST. She has been doing my hair for years and I am thrilled she and her partner have created this beautiful salon. Between the plants and precisely placed rocks/ crystals the vibe at Hair Collective is calming and relaxing. Christa always achieves the look I’m going for and is the only person I will trust with my wild hair! Added bonus- the salon uses vegan products and is environmentally friendly!

Not only is this a beautiful space, but it’s got a great energy to it, and so do the women there. I’ve had my hair cut with Christa twice now, and I’m incredibly happy with the results. I’m a hairstylist myself so I know quality work, and she delivers. She really took the time to understand what I was saying and give me exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t be happier with how my hair looks and feels. I highly recommend checking them out!

Hair Collective was a godsend after hopping around to different salons, trying to find right hair stylist for me. The small yet beautifully done space is welcoming and creates an atmosphere that is far more pleasant for a haircut, styling, or whatever else the skilled and professional team may be providing for you than any other salon I’ve ever been to. Speaking of the team, Nicole is a force to be reckoned with: she clearly takes pride in her work and uses it as an artform of expression, ensuring that I, and her client who was walking out as I walked in, looked perfect before standing up from the chair. It’s amazing to finally have a salon like this in Hillsdale. Other salons in Bergen County and North Jersey should take note of the experience one can have at Hair Collective and the talent within its walls. I’m excited for my next appointment!
