They didn’t care fix my hair, so unfortunately I am leaving this review. I am Brazilian, so my friend recommended this place and I was very happy to go, specially to give a support for Brazilian business. I didn’t want to deal with this situation right now that I lost money, time and my hair is worst than before. I went to the salon for High Liss Truss Botox for my hair, also I bought the products “Truss” at the salon… because they suggested so it “will keep the Botox on my hair”, of course I trusted. I spend more than $500, after 2 days I washed my hair and used the truss products (shampoo, spray conditioner) and follow everything what they told me. My hair was and still really bad, very dry, a lot frizz, opaque, the texture changed for worst and the color changed for orange, I need to use heavy cream and oil to try keep the frizz and volume. I cried, unbelievable, I spend a good money on this treatment. Before I went to the salon, I called them and asked about the treatment, I researched about it, I asked so many questions, they confirmed this treatment it will help my hair. I sent photos, tried several times to communicate and the sad part is the way they treated, Ana wanted me to pay her more money for hair cut and dry my hair, extra $110 or more, the only solution she can do is offering me $45 treatment for “free”, but I spend a lot more than this price. About money back? Not All. She is still saying things that my hair was dry before and that’s why the result, but this was reason I went to salon because my hair was dry and I thought the treatment it will help me, doesn’t make any sense, try blame on me when the treatment didn’t work on my hair for some reason, she didn’t try to know if the other girls did correct on my hair, her response is not care and don’t have nothing she can do about it. If you are Brazilian I am pretty sure there’s better places you can go, someone will treat with respect, better communication and care about your hair and don’t try take advantage! I just want my money back on this treatment make my hair worst.

While I am thrilled with the haircut and can not deny the talent, I think the prices are crazy. $65 for a haircut is fair but that does not include a blowout or even a rough dry. I walked out in the middle of winter with very wet hair because I wasn’t prepared to spend an extra $45 on a blowout. While I knew that a blowout was extra I definitely wasn’t prepared to walk out with such wet hair as I figured they would at least blow my hair dry but no. I am happy with the results but I will not be returning. Customer service was also lacking. I’m not one for a ton of small talk but my stylist hardly even said hi or bye.

My 2nd time at this salon, I scheduled an appointment for 10 am on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. A weekend or two prior, I had came for an in person evaluation prior to making my appointment. The evaluation of my hair was done by Ana, she said my hair was in great condition (I had been following all of her hair tips since my last visit- I use all truss professional products- therapy and blonde shampoo, hydrating mask, miracle conditioner, prime deluxe – leave in conditioner, and the truss professional heat protector, an instant repair for my ends, and a powder to add volume to a blowout, and I bought the revlon blower she recommended to keep iron out of my hair)

These ladies know technique!! Super impressed with how they evaluated my hair texture and color to come up with a perfect look. My hair has never looked this amazing from a salon service, and the Truss products and conditioning treatment made my damaged ends soft! I even used them on my daughters dry hair and will soon be taking her for color too! Thank you ladies!

I had been looking for a place for my waxing needs & I decided to give Jaira’s Salon a try. Ill say right off the bat, they have a customer GOR LIFE!! My experience was excellent! Jaira was the woman who did my 2 waxing services : Brazilian & Full Leg Wax, & I can not stress how amazing of a woman & individual she truly is! First of all, this is the 2nd time I’ve ever got these 2 services done, & I thoroughly enjoyed my experience this time around! There was not the slightest bit of discomfort in any way, shape or form!! I am STILL so shocked at the fact that she was able to complete both services without inflicting any actual PAIN! It’s truly amazing! The 1stvtime I had these services done, the wax burned me, the process was painful, it felt like it took FOREVER! But not with Jaira! She is so comfortable, & extremely skilled! She’s also incredibly personable, and between the complete lack of physical pain & lack of physical discomfort, like AT ALL!! ( I swear, she a magician! ), she maintained such a comfortable, ‘natural’, flow of conversation, that it really made the time fly! I couldn’t believe how fast it went, & overall how enjoyable the process was! The establishment was extremely clean, & hygienic, & OVERALL, you can just really tell that between Jaira, & her daughter’s (they own / run the salon together), they truly LOVE what they do, & take such pride in everything they do! They genuinely want their clients to be the epitome of happy!! I loved Jaira & everything SO MUCH, that although I had waited a month for my hair appointment at my regular salon, which was the following day, I mentioned to Jaira that I had inquired about the ‘HAIR BY LIMA’, portion of the salon, & saw the jaw dropping, amazing work that her daughter’s do. I mostly saw Ana’s work online. I fell instantly head over heels in love with all of her work! This woman is a true artist, & I’ve never seen such perfection mastered the way I saw in her work online. Well it turned out Ana was there. So, Jaira mentioned to Ana that I loved her work & that I like to get Balayage done to my hair which is what they specialize in. Though Ana was with a client, she took a little time out after my waxing to introduce herself, & basically give me a quick consultation. ABSOLUTELY, NO PRESSURE! For all they knew, & I knew, I still had my regular chair appointment the following day atmy regular salon. But, after meeting & speaking with Ana, & then doing more research & looking at even more of her work online, that was it! I was in LOVE with Jaira’s Salon, & also didn’t want to wait months to experience ‘HAIR BY LIMA’ (to hey are1 in the same ). So, that night, the night b4 my regular scheduled hair appointment, I called my salon & cancelled my hair appointment for the next day, & the next day, I called & made an appointment with Ana, which is coming up on Wednesday 9/22, & I’m SO EXCITED!!

Anna is a dream to work with. I showed her an inspiration pic and and she immediately understood the look I was going for. She takes her time, understands how to effortless blend and lift your hair to achieve the color you want in your baliage. 6 hours later I walked out with the best baliage I have ever gotten! (And I have have been going to a very high end salon in Manalapan for over 12 years.) needless to say I will be coming back. You get your money’s worth with Anna!

Best salon for a full Brazilian wax and hair extensions! I’ve tried a lot of different salons and full service wax spas for the best results and Jaira’s Salon/ Hair By Lima not only gives me the cleanest wax, meaning NO hair, but they are very thorough and sanitary. Karina always does my Brazilian wax and she makes you feel comfortable and very satisfied with the results. I’ve never been disappointed with my wax and I’ve been going to this salon for 3 years now, even though it is 45 minutes away from my house. It’s always worth the trip. I’ve also had hair extensions put in by Jaira and she not only matched my natural color perfectly, but she was able to add highlights (also extensions, not dye), which complimented my color very naturally. Also, their method of putting in hair extensions is the quickest I’ve ever had. It only took 2 hours versus the typical 5-6 for a full head and they still lasted the same amount of time as the extensions that took 5 hours to put in! They even offer a discount package! You just can’t beat their service and deals!

I have gone to a lot of places in NJ and in NY for waxing, this place is the best one with the best products for my sensitive skin. I also started to do the laser here and I am very happy with the results so far. Everyone is friendly and they have your best interest at heart. Also my hair looks full of life and healthy, so many compliments. I would not go anywhere else.

First of all I love how professional Karina was when I got my underarms waxed for the first time. I have super sensitive skin I even get rashes if I use too much deodorant. I have to use organic products only for my underarms. Karina was super helpful and walked me through the process helping me choose which wax would be better for my type of skin and I can’t be any more grateful for her service. There were a few strays of hair left but it couldn’t been because they were too short to get waxed. But other than that I will be booking future appointments with her. Thank You!
