Critical: ProfessionalismSTAY AWAY!!I have never written a poor review in my life. Ever. Even when one of my previous stylists fried my hair off due to over bleaching, I did nothing. I just didn’t review her at all, and found a new stylist. Never that is, until today, this one is unavoidable. I don’t want anyone to go through what I just did. PLEASE READ, and stay away from Kristi Winoa!! She is unethical, unfriendly, overpriced, and is horrible at installing extensions. Please don’t be fooled by her before and after photos. I know first hand that they are retouched, and not representative of what your hair will look like, or be put though in just a week after seeing her. They may look good at first, but you will understand after reading the text message I sent to her. I went to her with with hair length that rested at the very bottom of neck, with breakage on the top and sides due to over highlighting. What she left me with is far worse. Here’s my message to her, and if the review lets me, I will post the 18 pictures oI sent with it:Hi Kristi, it’s Heather.I’m reaching out because I’ve been very unhappy with my hair since my last appointment. My scalp has been very irritated and itchy, and the color of my extensions don’t blend with my hair, or with each other for that matter. I sought the professional opinion of two different stylists, both of whom have over 15 years experience in extensions. I’m very upset because it’s so much worse than I even knew. I was told by each stylist, separately, that not only was the coloring all wrong, but that the bad coloring was exacerbated by the placement of the wefts. Both said there was no way the hair you installed was new.. it was used hair. I paid for brand new hair with expedited shipping.. that is not what you gave me. I have irritation and bald spots in every area on my head where you placed my beads. I learned that the end beads on all my rows were stitched together, and very sloppily installed, some were already coming out. I am extremely upset with all of this information. I paid you a lot of money to gain back some confidence, and I received the complete opposite. I feel completely deceived, and taken advantage of by you. I’ve now had to buy all new extensions, pay for the install, and color correction of the low lights you put in my hair. I’d like to give you opportunity, as a business woman, to rectify all of this. I can bring the hair back if you would like it. I feel a FULL refund, including tip, is in order. Unfortunately you can’t “refund”my bald spots, or the incredible hassle, and time spent fixing your mistakes. Im hoping you will rectify this within 48 hours. If not, Ive already spoken with my credit card company, and they completely back me, knowing that what I paid for, is not at all what I received. I haven’t filed it with them yet, as I want to give you the opportunity to make it right. I’m including photos for you, taken both inside and out in the sun light.I never heard a word back from her. Which isn’t that surprising, in retrospect- From my first appointment, she talked poorly about her other clients, complaining not only about them, but about how poorly they tip. Expressing to me that she, “remembers who tips well and who brings her favorite Starbucks drink.” Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. In the end, my 1 star review isn’t even accurate. Having me pay for what I thought, were brand new extensions AND a $75 expedited shipping fee for extensions that were already in her possession, and had already been worn on someone else’s head, the damage she did to my hair in the form of bald spots and irritation, the extreme hassle and time wasted, and the fact that she never apologized or tried to make it right, choosing instead to ignore me, I would have whole heartedly given her negative stars if it were possible. If the hair looked horrible, I can see someone giving a 1 or 2 star review. What she did was so much worse than that. *I was able to upload photos. My extension had been put in three days prior the photos.*STAY AWAY!!I have never written a poor review in my life. Ever.
