Maegan only works Sundays but she is worth the wait!!!! I have been getting my hair highlighted here for the past year! And thats saying a lot because of how often people move. The salon is clean and I never have to wait for my appointment. I usually have to book a couple weeks in advanced but the wait is worth is.

I had grown bored with my longer hair and needed a new “do”. I like to keep my business local so I tried out Hair by Jessa today and I was highly impressed! Sarah was very down to earth, funny, and professional and she had my son and I both in and out of there looking much more stylish than when we walked in. If you’re new to Richlands then don’t hesitate to give them a call! This will be my stylist as long as they are there.

I am very disappointed in this salon. I had an appointment with Sarah Skinner for a root touch-up for my highlighted hair. However, she put all-over platinum color on my very dark roots causing my roots to turn orange. She didn’t apologize and acted like she didn’t make a mistake. She told me it would fade in time. I paid for the service, but was still very unhappy. I contacted the salon and they assured me it could be fixed and to come back the next day. They booked with the same hair stylist, Sarah, and I was very skeptical about letting her touch my hair again but I was leaving for a wedding in a few days and thought it couldn’t get any worse. I was very wrong, she made it much worse. She basically just put bleach on the roots for 30 minutes leaving the top of my head white with orange patches and the bottom still my normal highlighted hair. She took after pictures both days which just showed the bottom half of the hair that was previously highlighted by someone else. I called just about every salon in this area and once they saw how bad it was, no one wanted to even attempt to fix it. Every stylist said you never put platinum coloring on dark hair because it will turn it orange and you never put all-over color on highlighted roots because it will never grow out the same with the highlights. Luckily, I found an experienced hair stylist in California who miraculously fixed botched colored hair after 6 long hours and $400. If you have highlighted hair, avoid Sarah Skinner.
