He even ordered the the special curling iron in advance. Jay’s warm personality, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service makes him stand out from the crowd in Las Vegas.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWOW! My least fav place to be is a salon however I had fun with Jay! Not only was he super professional, down to earth, and an awesome guy but he is also the best hair stylist I have been to in the 6 years I’ve lived in Las Vegas. It took me 6 years to find him so I have a new hair dresser, and new friend as well. Thanks Jay for turning my sad dried hair with long roots into a beautiful hair cut, highlights, and gorgeous style! WOW! My least fav place to be is a salon however I had fun with Jay! Not only was he super professional, down to earth, and an awesome guy but he is also the best hair stylist I have been to in the 6 years I’ve lived in Las Vegas. It took me 6 years to find him so I have a new hair dresser, and new friend as well. Jay is really good at cutting hair, I originally was gonna shave my head but he suggested thought that maybe a hairstyle could potentially be better, I asked what he was thinking & he showed me a few reference photos of what he thought would suit my style/face & than I decided on getting a fade instead. I actually like the way the fade came out- i would come back for my next haircut!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueAvoid at all costs…..I Made an appointment with Jay for my wife to get her roots done with bleach and toner. Asked him prices and sent pics of my wife’s hair as requested. He said it would be about $100 for that service. Booked appointment and was surprised it was in his home when he sent an address the day of the appointment as online it shows a business address on Tenaya. His assistant seemed a bit confused and he repeated instructions to her several times about mixing chemicals (that should have been a warning sign). He was very attentive so it set us at ease. My wife was happy with the work and he charged her $220 (he trimmed some length in the back so my wife paid him as she thought it was correct). Next day my wife noticed her pillows had been discolored overnight by bleach? Evidently they did not rinse her hair thoroughly…. Her skin at her hairline was burned…Next she had hair breakage and the front is platinum blonde and the back is toned better but fried as well. Evidently the bleach was too strong.. I contacted Jay by voicemail, text and Facebook and he did not contact back except to say he was busy moving in a canned text. Next he texted he had not received any messages from me. I sent him screenshots and still no call. I called but no answer. I called with my private home phone and he answered, he said sorry I could not make you happy, find someone else! Really? You destroyed my wife’s hair, overcharged , burned her scalp and you don’t respond? He seemed like he knows what to do but he is not consistent, not caring and will overcharge when he can. He saw us as fools, sad as he seemed like a nice person. Avoid at all costs…..I Made an appointment with Jay for my wife to get her roots done with bleach and toner. Asked him prices and sent pics of my wife’s hair as requested. He said it would be about $100 for that service.
