I usually feel really anxious when I go to a new salon, but everyone was really friendly and welcoming here! But what I loved most was that during my first appointment with Katey, she took the time to get to know my hair’s tendencies, how I style it on a day to day basis, and gave a haircut that helped my hair feel fuller as I told Katey I had had some thinning. This is the best haircut I’ve ever had in Boston and weeks later, I’m still so happy with the result. They’re worth every penny!

I’m going to be really honest and transparent. I was not happy with my service, I showed Sam the reference photo I wanted and I got something completely different. I wanted highlights but with brown cool-toned color, I got orange hair instead. I had black hair dye from before, so I understand how color lifts. But initially I thought she was going to put a toner instead, but she put a gloss. I had to ask her to put a toner. After the service I saw my hair in natural lighting and I was not happy. The color was patchy, you could still see the orange and it didn’t blend well. I feel like she rushed to put on the toner since she had another client next. Anyways, I went to another salon to get it fixed.

This place is not new client friendly. This is my first time *ever* booking a hair salon appointment and it was quite an upsetting experience. I booked an appointment but ran into traffic on the way there. The salon called me because I was 10 minutes late and asked if I was coming. I said yes, I am a few minutes away from the salon. They then proceeded to tell me that they are canceling my appointment and they are charging me the full cost of the haircut and style because being 10 minutes late is considered a no show. Zero compassion or understanding. I was devastated because this was going to be my first time getting my hair cut professionally and I was really looking forward to it. I had no idea they had such a strict late policy and fee. I understand their policy on no shows, but this was extreme and there was no warning. Overall a negative experience because the person who called me had zero compassion for my situation.
