Love Love Love Amanda!!!! She does the best of anyone… I was going to several different places and was never really satisfied with my hair or the work that they did but when I was lucky enough to find her 10+ years ago I haven’t been anywhere else!!!! I also buy my hair products from her and if I need some hair products all I have to do is call her in between hair appointments and if she doesn’t have what I need in stock then she will order it and call me when it comes in… Very professional, kind, always works with you, a wonderful family environment!!!!

I am not from Troy, but I have been working here for the summer. I decided I wanted to get my hair cut last weekend and this seemed like a good enough place. The place was cute. The lady’s kid was there and another customer’s kids were there too. Which was fine, that didn’t bother me. Anyways, she started me while waiting for the other customer’s hair was taking in the color. She asked me what I wanted, I told her I wanted layers, my face framed and the cut evened out. I also told her I wanted as little taken off as possible. Pretty simple, I wasn’t going for anything too crazy. Speed up the clock two hours and she has cut about 6-8 inches of my hair and done a V cut in the back. I definitely cried when I got into my car. The only reason I gave her two stars was because the cut was actually done well, but it wasn’t what I asked for. She cut off so much. And because my hair is curly, is lays just below my collar bone, when before it easily hit my lower back. Also, she didn’t even ask me if I wanted a cut in the V shape, she just did it. If she had, I would have said no. I like having a straight cut. On top of that, when she framed my face, she basically gave me bangs. I didn’t want bangs either (I told her that before we started). I just felt like she was rushing through the whole thing and she wasn’t adapting to my thickness or curls. I paid $40 dollars (I tipped $10 because I was trying to be nice and still processing this whole experience) for something that I didn’t even want. And now I have to live with it for the next year until my hair grows back.

This was by far the most laid-back and wonderful experience I have ever had in a hair salon I had to bring my children with me for a root touch up and she was very accommodating she even squeezed in an appointment to cut my daughter’s hair and she did a wonderful job!
