I have had horrible luck in the past with finding a hair salon that I leave happy after an appointment. I was nervous at first because Hair at the Skuare was a new salon for me and with my back luck with salons, I didn’t know what to expect. I highly recommend Autumn Maksimehuk. First time I ever got my eyebrows waxed and cleaned up that when I left, they were even, and I didn’t have to fix. She also cut my hair, and being so long, she did an awesome job to all I need to do is blow-dry, and its already styled. I even referred a friend, and she braided his hair better than most that I have seen. She’s amazing at what she does. Thank you!

Danielle is the best hairstylist you’ll find local to the New Kensington area. I received a haircut and a hair color. She took the time to understand when I wanted and made sure I didn’t leave until I was satisfied. She even took the time to remove the stain off my forehead and neck area. I also received a massage from Jamie, the massage therapist, and it was amazing! Nice deep tissue and she really makes sure all the knots are out. The salon environment is so fun and makes you feel welcomed. 10/10 would recommend this salon.

I have been going to Hair at the Skuare since they opened this location. And Danielle has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. What’s a better review than a customer who keeps coming back? Frankly, I don’t trust anyone else to cut my hair. I can always count on a reliable haircut from Danielle for a very reasonable price, not much more than any retail “clips” location, and that includes a pre-cut wash. Thanks Danielle!

I went to this salon on a whim one day when I was desperate for a trim and everywhere in the area was booked. I am picky about my hair and was hesitant to go somewhere new. I was cheerfully greeted and never had a better haircut! I am now a loyal customer and have never been happier with my hair cut and color. My hair is thick and curly but is no match for Danielle! The environment is very relaxed and salon workers are all knowledgable and friendly. I am never turning back! 5/5 stars and highly recommended!
