I have been seeing Katie since the fall of 2015, shortly after moving to Somerville; first at Salon Cu and now at Little Hollow. In the dozens of appointments since, she has ALWAYS been on time and delivered a cut/style that I love. I cannot recommend her enough. She styled my hair for my wedding, and now also cuts my husband’s hair. Two years ago, I moved 40 min away and still come to Somerville to see her. Most recently, I entrusted her to dye my hair (the first time I’ve ever permanently dyed my hair!), taking it from my natural dark brown to a plum purple. It came out better than I could have ever imagined.

I have seen Kelsey a few times now and she’s transformed my hair from a pretty standard bob (that I came in with) to the funky, layered mullet I have now. I feel like she really “got me” and gave me a haircut that is fairly low maintenance, which is no small feat with short hair!

Last night, despite by best judgement, I decided to give myself facing framing angles. I was quickly humbled and reached out to this salon to see if they’d be able to take me last minute and correct my wrong-doing. Meaghan, without hesitation, scheduled me right at 4pm (their closing time). She met me with such hospitality, kindness, and expertise! I honestly was blown away. Thanks again, Meaghan.
