So the majority of this review involves me indirectly. I recommended my friend (let’s call her Stephanie) this place due to the good reviews. So I feel personally responsible for her and whats happened to her. Stephanie went in for a lightly layered hair cut and a color job. She was told that the color she wanted was impossible for one session and they went with something else. Now, the picture of what Stephanie wanted and what she got were two polar opposites. The the only conclusion I can draw is that the stylist looked at Stephanie and her tattoos, and profiled her heavily. There is no way you can botch the cut she wanted so badly that you end up with a highly alternative haircut.

Mavis Paul is a consummate professional. She’s a short hair expert and does my haircuts in just that way, expertly while just as friendly. She has in the past done color for me and knows that inside and out, she knows what will stay and what won’t. I don’t color anymore because it doesn’t last long enough in my short hair, but if I was going to, she’d be the one to do it.

I’m in Cody, Wyoming, on vacation and needed a hair cut. I called Hair Affaire and 11th Street Spa and they were able to schedule an appointment for me with Mavis. She is a doll!! I just loved her and knew that I was in good hands! She is so sweet, funny and friendly…and she gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had! Mavis saved my hair from a terrible demise at the hands of another local salon. I came in with inconsistently bleached hair that was so bad I had to wear a ball cap over it in public. It was a hard save but she consulted with her colleagues there and found the right combination of dye to get it back to my natural color. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my hair care. Im so grateful for her great work.

Love it! Gregg did an excellent job on my hair, and I got a spray tan from Dejah, and it looks amazing! I feel so pampered when I go to 11th Street Spa! My daughter also got her ears pierced and they we’re super kind and patient with her, and showed her there was no reason at all to be scared! Great group of people, excellent place to spend a few hours getting pampered!
