Critical: ProfessionalismThis is something I did not want to do but I had to share my experience. I was scheduled for an appointment with Lenisha at Hair 101 on 10/26 after waiting 2 months after booking for my appointment. I received a text at 1:36 a.m. the morning of my appointment stating she was sick and needed to reschedule. I was scheduled for the ultimate makeover (the works) $200. I know things happen and come up so I was very understanding and told her I hope she feel better and let me know as soon as possible when she could reschedule me. Mind you it was my birthday and I was scheduled for surgery. The next morning she text and stated she was still sick and was refunding my money back. I was confused as she had just stated in the previous text she would reschedule me which would have been the fair thing to do. She then stated no I’m just going to refund you because I cant squeeze you in anywhere and I’m off all next week. Basically refusing my service which was so unprofessional. Not only did I wait 2 months for this Ultimate Makeover but now I would have to rebook my appointment which she was already booking into next year. This was the most unprofessional customer service I have ever received. It is your job to satisfy your customers and that was something she failed at. She never once tried to squeeze me in or even push back a few other customers to fit me in. She just refused service and refunded my money. Excited because I have missed my stylist so much lol and nervous because Covid is changing the way we live our lives. When I left I felt very comfortable. She took the necessary precautions to make sure that the atmosphere was safe, it was a great one on one experience, the new location is beautiful and feels refreshing and not to mention she sanitized and disinfected very often. Yesterday I was nervous and excited at the same time. Excited because I have missed my stylist so much lol and nervous because Covid is changing the way we live our lives. When I left I felt very comfortable.
