I really wanted this salon to be my go to but the price was never communicated till the very end when i was charged $420 for a root bleach and tone and a trim. Ive been getting my hair done for over a decade and never in my life have i had to pay this much for what i got.

As a hairstylist working there was the worst experience ever. They paid me minimal wage; and the owner is hungry for money I had to perform a 45min haircut that included a shampoo, haircut and a blow out and in general all services are short(also think before booking that the stylist have to rush to finish your service) please don’t go there, it’s an abusive environment to their employees!

I’ve been a loyal Aveda gal for over 20 years. I change salons often because I’m a travel nurse. But $472 for a haircut and all over color?! (That included a 20% tip) That’s insane! Yes, the stylist told me the cost before starting. I should have said, “I want a cut and color, not dialysis!” But I didn’t. Should have politely declined at that excessive price. I guess my ego made me stay. Yes, my hair looked fabulous… for a month. but next time, ummm… no. No hairstyle is worth $472!! Disappointed in myself for not maintaining my own financial boundaries. I am a “comfortable” woman. Not a rich woman. And even if I was ridiculously wealthy, it’s HAIR! Never again.

I had an appointment for a balyage at another salon that was canceled on the day of. Having reserved the day for hair pampering, I began calling around to other salons. Habitude was able to get me in at the last minute. The front desk staff was understanding, helpful, and professional. I ended up getting scheduled with Shelby. Very quickly, I found myself glad that the other salon had canceled. Shelby was an absolute delight. She clearly knows what she is doing with color. She did EXACTLY what I was envisioning for my hair. She was also warm, caring, and funny. She gave me a heavenly head massage and thorough information on maintaining my new color. I am thrilled and will continue to return to Shelby for color as long as she will have me. I also found the pricing very reasonable. Thank you, Habitude! Y’all are the best.
