Habitat Tattoo was established in Pahoa Hawaii in October of 2000. I have been tattooing since 1996 I started in Los Angeles and made Hawaii my new home in 2000 when I opened my shop in the heart of Pahoa town. I love doing polynesian tattoos. I am well rounded in many styles due to experience in the business I do fine line, intricate , Japanese, black n grey and color tattoos. We offer cosmetic tattoos and tooth gems and piercing on fridays and Saturdays. Aloha come check us out.

Nancy is an amazing tattoo artist, she has done 99% of my tattoo work. I have a large piece on my back and 2 sleeves and a few smaller pieces, all done by Nancy… she is super talented, clean and not heavy handed. she does awesome line work and most of my work is very colorful and after many years still looks beautiful. she’s super reliable and super clean. honestly I won’t let anyone else work on me… I highly recommend her and have several times. totally worth the drive for me… I drive 1.5 hours to see her!

Meagan at Habitat did the cutest fern sprig for me on my ankle. I LOVE it. She was very accommodating for my many ideas and very reasonably priced and it was the least painful ink work ever!!!!! Just left Habitat confused and bewildered. Had an appointment with Megan at 10:30. She was working on another lady at that time so I decided to run some errands. Come back at noon and she is still working on the client. We get to talking about what I want to get done and she says I need to work on it now because she charges $120 an hour. On her Instagram she says she is up and coming. Figured it would be way less. She proceeded to give an attitude with me. I tell her I lived in Portland for 6 years and tatoo artists who are up and coming don’t charge that much. They also do not charge for coming up with the tatoo. The time starts when the needle hits your skin. She began to cry and told me I needed to leave. She is obvious mentally unstable and needs to check her attitude at the door. Do not come here!!
