I just had my hair done at H&A by Amy. She is wonderful. I don’t get my hair braided ever. Last time was about 20 yrs ago. She let me stop by the day before my appt to go over hair She was going to use and give me instruction on washing before I come. The shop is calm and friendly. I love my hair style. Ive gotten my hair done twice now here and this shop is professional and dose excellent work. Amy the own is a wonderful personal and funny to talk to. When I need help she texted me a picture of the hair brand for the style I wanted.My hairstylist is skilled and gentle with my hair. She always works with me on my hairstyles and is honest about what will work with my hair length. These two ladies are great to work with and I would remind this place to anyone who want quality hairstyles and a positive atmosphere .

I literally just had a customer service experience. I called to schedule a walk in. I asked if they accept walk ins-yes according to Mary. However a 2 day notice is better. So she asked to send a pic of the style, which I did. She stated she can do it, but I have to go buy the hair. I called her again and asked how can I be serviced without having to purchase the hair, that I have no idea what I’m purchasing. I am a professional that just wants to walk in and have my hair braided. She was offended that I stated I was seeking professional services, where I don’t have to run around seeking a hair supply store. I said to Mary, if you need 2 days notice may I schedule an appointment for Monday, she asked again will I be buying my own hair. I don’t usually get my hair braided, is this normal practice to bring in your own hair? I want to just make an appointment and be serviced and pay. Why do I have to go through loops and purchase hair? I have no hair supply stores in the area which I live in, she asked me to google. I feel like its going to get your hair colored and being ask to go purchase my own dye, or get a relaxer and go to chose a relaxer at Sally’s? Am I missing something. I will not go here based on this interaction.

I’ve just moved to the area, and thought I had found my second hair salon. As my regular salon, was booked solid. They were very cordial, and professional. This is where the pleasantries end. They braided my daughter’s hair, waaay too tight. Some fell out. I will never return here, again. I wouldn’t recommend them, to anyone. I really wanted to like this place.
