My first experience here was over a year ago. It was okay.My most recent visit was 2 weeks ago and I woke up this morning to braids falling out. Also,the prices have increased and the staff is hardly friendly. I think I’ll take my business elsewhere in the future.

I have be coming here for two years. An my last two times has been hell. My hair was coming down itself the night after I got it done. They didn’t make time to fix it. An I just took it down after give the $200+. Decide to go back to hair style I always gotten and they want change the price. Want go up on price after having the service done more than 5 times. Will not go here ever again

The young girls were nice but my crochet braids were not done neatly/properly. The crochet hair started coming out on day 2. Also I didn’t like the fact that the young girl had her phone conversation while on speaker & facetime on a 3 way almost the whole time while she was doing my hair. This was distracting, unprofessional, & soooo annoying.

One braid was larger and one smaller; the part was crooked and too much gel. I paid for my service, and did not cause a scene nor was rude;however, It looked so bad that I took it down when I arrived at home. I could not go to work with a hairstyle like that. I usually don’t post reviews, but in this case, I feel that a review should be posted. I went in for a simple/easy ( cornrow) style. One braid was larger and one smaller; the part was crooked and too much gel. I paid for my service, and did not cause a scene nor was rude;however, It looked so bad that I took it down when I arrived at home. I could not go to work with a hairstyle like that. I needed my hair done for a wedding at the end of the week. I currently live in Brooklyn but the wedding is in Houston and I didn’t have time to get it done before I left NYC. Henrietta was so helpful and professional. She has a vast knowledge of hair textures and which styles work best for each. My crochet braids came out beautifully and I was done in less than 2 hours. I also loved how she kept checking in with me about the fullness of the hair and also about whether she was hurting me. Overall, it was a really great experience and I will definitely be going back whenever I am in Htown from Brooklyn.

Love, love, love my hair!!! Best braiding experience I’ve had in Texas. Henriette was pleasant and accommodating. She gave me exactly what I asked for. The facility was clean and the neighborhood felt safe. I don’t plan on going anywhere else.

I brought my 9 year old daughter here to get some braids cause daddy can’t handle that thick hair of hers. LOL. I left after she sat down to get some cash and when I got back, she was halfway done! Crazy fast and great quality. I have absolutely no problem bringing her here in the future. All she got was simple corn rows, but they look fantastic. It looked like it hurt a little bit, but that’s expected when you get your hair braided. Also, it was great to hear the ladies there speak such beautiful French while I was waiting. Highly recommended!
