First time impressions are everything guys. Doug gave me the Worst fade cut I’ve ever seen. Never showed me what the back or side looked like. Please rectify. First Photo on the left is a day after I realized this atrocity. 2nd Photo on right is after my roomate, who’s not a barber and who has never done a fade, cleaned it up big time and saved myself the embarrassment of walking in public.

I am a new customer, and not only will I definitely return, but I highly recommend JJ to anyone needing barber. He is a true gentleman, has the eye of an artist (he was formerly a chef!), is patient and not rushing the customer from his chair, but most importantly, gave me one of the best haircuts that I have ever had. My wife and family have never been so complimentary of my haircuts prior to JJ’s cut and styling.

I was coming from Maine for a wedding so I needed to book a week or two early to make sure I had a time slot that worked with the events that were being planned. I did a ton of research and the reviews of G.Y.M were all very good. Sadly I can’t review the hair or beard cut as the barber wasn’t able to make the appointment. I hope he is ok and it wasn’t anything serious causing him to no show but I had to drive from Clearwater (45 min drive) to this shop, arrived early, and had to sit and wait for over 25 minutes before the very kind and nice front desk girl told me she didn’t know where the barber was. I could hear here making phone calls in the back to try to figure it out and she did attempt to get me squeezed in next door at the salon but the hair stylist who was in the back room didn’t sound too excited about trying to get me in with her already busy schedule. All in all I had to bite the bullet and leave with out a hair or beard trim to go to the rehearsal looking grizzly. Just a bit frustrating that I tried to book well in advance for an important event and was left out to dry. I do hope the barber is ok but as a business you have to be better than that.
