Grew up in the town but didn’t find Kelly’s barbershop until after college. Since finding her, I been getting the best/most consistent haircuts of my life. I no longer believe that you need to wait a week for a new haircut to look good. I have received many compliments and always enjoyed the experience. Kelly is not only great at her work, but also truly cares about her clients.

Super friendly, high end, boutique experience. I also feel very safe coming in during the pandemic with all the extra precautions they have taken.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityHad this appointment scheduled for my son for a week now and we showed up on time. First we weren’t properly greeted and the hairdresser working there was jut starting to cut a boy’s hair while chatting with a woman in the shop, most likely the mom of the boy. I had assumed our scheduled hairdresser wasn’t there yet so we waited for her to show up. After a few minutes I decided to interrupt the talk between the women, for me to find out the current hairdresser was supposed to be our hairdresser and that she was running late because all her customers had arrived late that day. She suggested the waiting time was about 15 minutes. We said we will then be back for that and left to run an errand. When we returned 17 minutes later she had a new customer and just told us that she couldn’t take us now. She didn’t apologize, nor did she care about rescheduling us for a future appointment. She just didn’t care.When I scheduled the appointment she told me about the struggels she had with rescheduling all her customers due to an unexpected issue and that she had to close her shop for a week.We do support our small businesses in Wellesley specially since Covid hit, but now I know for sure I won’t be returning here anymore with my son, nor will I recommend this to my husband nor anyone I know.A little bit of communication and caring goes a long way, but unfortunately not in this case.Had this appointment scheduled for my son for a week now and we showed up on time. First we weren’t properly greeted and the hairdresser working there was jut starting to cut a boy’s hair while chatting with a woman in the shop, most likely the mom of the boy. Stylish haircuts. You can’t go wrong with this barber shop. My whole family has been getting their haircut by Kelly for the past 7 years and would never go anywhere else. Highly recommend.
